It was a tale of two very contrasting semi-finals on Thursday night in the Europa League.
Man Utd and Roma produce another goalfest, a total of 13 scored across the two legs with United notching a 8-5 aggregate win to book their place in the Gdansk finale.
Things were altogether a bit more nervy at the Emirates where Arsenal couldn't break down the Villarreal defence and find that goal they so deperately needed to qualify. The 0-0 draw meant the Spanish side broke the Premier league's dominance of the European finals this season and will face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side on May 26th. Wouldn’t put anyone off that market at all Pete, but the bookies know it as well. Odds on for 5 in all the places I looked, and even trying a combo with goals or corners it was still skinny. Looked at hills for the over 0.5 fh over 1.5 sh combo and that was shorter than 1/2 so I’ve left them out of my picks today, although I do think we’ll see them. Tough trying to find value today when it can be an uncertain market like that. If I had to pick anything it would’ve been over 1.5 cards each half as a punt.
