Real Madrid will be seriously under-strengthed for their visit to Atalanta with the likes of Benzema, Ramos, Hazard, Marcelo, Carvajal, Valverde, Rodrygo and Militao all set to miss out.
No surprise then to see Atalanta installed as 13/10 favourites for a first leg victory. The Italians were a mixed bag in the group stages including a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool, followed by a 2-0 win at Anfield. Their other two home matches were draw with Ajax and Midtjylland so it's difficult to put all your trust in them at that short price.
One thing we should confident of is goals. Over 2.5 is larger than expected at a backable 4/6. An early goal paid off in Rome on Tuesday and it could be profitable again at 5/6 for a strikebefore the 26th minute.
Man City put their 18-match winning run on the line in Budapest against Borussia Monchengladbach who go in to the game eighth in the German Bundesliga and with only one win in five matches in all competitions.
City have been confirmed as being the current best team in Europe on the Euro Club Index and are 2/7 to win in Hungary. They shouldn't have too much difficulty landing those odds but value is hard to find in this match with Over 2.5 Goals priced at just 1/2.

Few selections for tomorrow, first up for the NAP I like Swansea at home to Coventry. The swans are unbeaten at home since October and although they’ve had 4 draws in that time only 1 was to a team outside the top 6, and after their 4-1 defeat at the weekend I’m hoping they’ll be looking to get back on track against a Coventry team who are pretty poor travellers.
Next up for the NB I’m off to oz where Melbourne victory take on Wellington Phoenix. It’s corners for me in this game, all 3 home games for the victory have seen 12+ and I think this will be an end to end game, with both sides contributing. When looking at the stats for some of these games I was surprised by some of the odds available. I can’t say my knowledge of Hungarian football is great but Iv been putting a few on and keeping an eye on certain teams there for goals etc and the last round of this cup, and since the beginning of it last year, has seen a ridiculous amount of goals. Out of 16 fixtures in the last round , 14 of them went overs with 6 seeing 4+. Looking at tomorrow’s fixtures there’s a few that really interest me.

Paksi are currently nine points ahead in the league with Budafoki just outwith the relagation places by 2 points to give an indication of the ‘better’ or ‘form’ team here. It’s the goals in their games that interest me. In Paksi last 5 games there have been a total of 20 goals , and that is similar to their games the month previous as well. Budafoki have seen 28 goals ( this includes an 11-0 in the previous round of the cup , but even taking this away , they have seen 17 goals in 4 games ).
Tallya are 2 divisions below MTK , and not only that but they are in the relegation places in that league as well albeit with one of the lower goals against in the league. In the last round , they played a team one division up and went through with 5-3 score line. Their last 5 games have seen 21 goals. MTK are 4th in the top division and are a decent outfit in terms of Hungarian football. They put 4 past a team in the same division as Tallya’s previous cup opponents so I can’t see any reason why they aren’t more than capable of putting a few past Tallya as well. There’s a big gulf in quality here between these two teams. They have played twice before with 8-0 and 9-0 score lines but I won’t take much from that as this was in 2017 & 2018 , but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see something similar tomorrow.
MTK are due to play top of the league ferencvaros on the 27/02 so I hope they don’t majorly rotate their squad but with a quarter final place up for grabs I’m also happy to have a nibble on these.

Speaking of value , I think skybet are offering a great price on tomorrow’s rangers vs Antwerp game. Most other bookies have Ritchie de laet to be booked priced around the 7/4 mark which is what I would have expected , but skybet go the biggest on the market at 16/5 , which for someone who has been booked in 4 of Antwerp’s last 5 games is good enough for me.
I reckon the game itself has the potential to see a fairly high card count. The competition means a lot to both teams , and either way I can see frustration boiling over at some point.
