An early goal for the Germans and things might get a bit twitchy for Jurgen Klopp's men. Bet365 rate Leipzig 9/5 to win the match and 5/1 shots to qualify. Julian Nagelsmann's side continue to keep apace with Bayern at the top the Bundesliga and will be sure to give it a go against the fragile Reds.

Morning folks, few selections I like from today starting in oz and Japan in the morning and into England and Spain this evening.
A team I highlighted frequently last year and had good success on was Kawasaki frontale in the j league. They ran away with the title last season scoring goals aplenty and I’ve left the first few games of the season alone to see how things pan out, and the good news is nothing seems to have changed much, they’ve won the first 3 games this season scoring 10 in the process. Hoping a win today and just 2 team goals isn’t beyond them. Adding to them for the NAP, Man City. Man Utd made them look very ordinary in the derby on Sunday and I reckon they will want to put that right against a saints team whose only 2 wins in 10 have come against sheff Utd and Liverpool and everyone is beating those 2.
For my NB again I’m drawn to Barnsley. Highlighted them at the weekend and they let me down on the goals front but they did notch up another win making it 7 on the bounce. I’m expecting a tough match with derby but the visitors away record recently reads 6 defeats in 8 and I’m backing the home men to just squeak home. Adding to this to boost the price up I’m taking atletico Madrid double chance. Was going to just take them and Barnsley on the outright double but they’ve had a wee dip in form recently and Bilbao are in good form, their only 2 defeats this year have been to Barca, a run stretching 16 games. With this in mind I’m happy enough to keep the draw onside. If you don’t fancy adding Madrid in double chance then you could always add them draw no bet for a bigger price.
Lastly it’s the A league where Sydney take in western United. Both sides in honking form but one market I like the look of for this game is cards, both sides pick up plenty and there won’t be any holding back today.

Just one bet for me today and whether Barnsley do end up winning or not this looks like generous odds to me. They are flying having won 7 games on the bounce. You could go back even further and see they’ve won 12 out of 18 which is actually very impressive bearing in mind they’ve only lost 4 of those 18 and all 4 losses have come against the top 3 sides in the league (2 losses against Swansea).
Derby looked to have turned a corner but have lost 4 of their last 5 away from home with the only win coming against bottom of the table Wycombe. They’ve lost to lowly Coventry City and Rotherham during that run and the form would suggest Barnsley should be winning this.

There is no question, Leipzig need to have a go tonight. Over the course of the season, Liverpool have lost some poor fixtures, even since the first leg 2-0 victory.
However their counterparts, since losing 2-0, Leipzig have been very good in the German league winning 4 out of 4.
Leipzig are second, only behind Bayern, in the ranking tables for most shots (369) and most shots on target (149) in their 24 German league games this season. Averaging over 15 shots and over 6 shots on target per game, there is no doubt they can attack.
However, it is quite concerning they haven’t been as dominant attacking wise in the European fixtures. I watched them against Manchester United in their 3-2 victory and for spells, were outstanding going forward.
