Cardiff City's trip to Huddersfield is the footballing highlight on Friday ahead of a hectic derby-laden weekend.
Mick McCarthy's men have been on a brilliant run of form, since losing 1-0 at home to QPR towards the end of January they've gone on a 10-match unbeaten run which is no mean feat in the Championship.
By contrast, Huddersfield's 4-1 win over Swansea two weeks ago was their only win this year. The Terriers played a fairly indifferent 1-1 draw against Birmingham but are still in danger of being drawn in to a relegation battle.
The Bluebirds, who haven't lost to Huddersfield in 14 meetings, look a good price at 21/20.
Looking ahead to the weekend and the Manchester Derby could see City all but clinch the Premier League title with a win over their city rivals.
There's also a crucial derby in Madrid where Atletico and Real are vying for the La Liga tile. Diego Simeone's men hold a five-point lead over Real with a game in hand so it could be defining match in the destination of the title.
Saturday's edition Der Klassiker doesn't have the same weight of importance as usual due to the 13 poin gap between Bayern and Dortmund but with RB Leipzig breathing down Bayern's neck a win is crucial nonetheless.

Early one for the morning. Apologies if Sean has posted something on yesterdays thread already. Newcastle jets are an uninspiring team for me and Adelaide have turned a bit of a corner with 2 impressive 3-2 victories on the bounce coming against west Sydney and Central Coast Mariners. The result against a Mariners side which has started this season strongly is a particularly good result. The jets have recovered from losing their first 4 games of the season by losing only one of their next 6 however that loss was a poor 2-0 loss at home to 2nd from bottom Wellington Phoenix. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Adelaide concede but for me they are a better side than Newcastle Jets and I can see them out scoring their opponents.

Like you I can’t see why Adelaide are almost 2/1 outsiders here at home after 2 cracking wins on the spin, and while I’m stopping short of taking them in the outright market I don’t think they’ll lose. Going for something Similar to the over 2.5 betbuilder I landed on Tuesday in the Perth v mariners game but instead of goals going for the reds double chance as well as the corners and cards. As I’ve highlighted numerous times so far this season here games are really corner heavy and both these sides average around 2 cards per game so hoping this isn’t to far away.

It’s off to Saudi for the NAP and the top 2 are in action at home looking for wins to keep their title challenges on track. Al hilal haven’t been great of late and they sit 5 pts behind al Shaba but they banged in 5 goals last week and managed to get giovinco half an hour off the bench on his return to fitness. Hoping with his added firepower they can notch a couple here. Highlighted al Shabab a few weeks ago and they continue to be the form team for goals, averaging more than 2 per game and I’m hoping that continues today.
For the NB it’s 2 sides I’ve been on frequently over the past 6 weeks or so, and both have been excellent on the 2+ tgs market, Cardiff let me down last weekend but it’s the only time in their last 8 they’ve failed to net twice and for sporting they’ve covered this market in the majority of their games this season so I’m happy to take both in a treble at a very nice price. 2 matches from oz in the morning and I’m leaving the first one alone and focusing on the 2nd- the Melbourne derby. Despite taking an early lead, Espanyol conceded midway in the 2nd half to draw 1-1. The game changed on the 38th minute when Espanyol went down to 10. At half time I did suggest to cover and take Real Oviedo double chance at 13/8 while at 1-0.
