If ever Everton were going to smash their Merseyside Derby hoodoo it was in this topsy-turvy season. A well-earned 2-0 win gave the Toffees bragging rights for the first time in over a decade and handed them a first Anfield victory this century.
It wasn't quite enough to lift them above Liverpool in the table but they've now drawn level with game in hand and they're back in the hunt for a top four finish.
At the other end of the table Fulham all but condemned Sheffield United to relegation with a 1-0 win at Craven Cottage. Scott Parker's side are now as big as 8/9 (SBK) to be relegated while Newcastle have been shortened in to 13/8 with Betfair to go down.
Sunday's Football Tips

A couple of early kick offs stand out to me this morning and value to be had. Both have their risks but for me both are overpriced.
Traditionally teams in the Europa League struggle the weekend after and both these two sides travelled midweek.

I’ve highlighted the fact that BTTS and over 2.5 has came up in most of the games between the top teams in Italy a few times now and they’ve generally been 10x more exciting to watch than the top 6 in England against each other. Ac Milan won the last league fixture this season 2-1, inter won the most recent game which was in the cup 2-1. No reason to back against at least the same sort of score line today.
The last league game between the two both Ibra and Lukaku scored and Ibra was carded. In the cup game Ibra scored and was sent off and lukaku also scored and was booked. It’s a fiery game and both these guys are big characters, already came up once this season and was close in the league fixture as well so worth a punt. Obviously waiting until teams are out just in case of any last minute injuries.

Also a small stake on this. Honestly arsenal is probably just a bit of bias on my part, City have been unbelievable and scary part is they are now starting to find that creative spark again that was missing for a while even with this incredible run. Still, Arteta has shown he knows how to make this side organised and surely City have to drop points eventually. If the players can go out and execute Artetas plan it might not be pretty but Arsenal could make it difficult for City today.
Ac Milan at 11/4 are overpriced in my opinion. Yes their form has dropped a little in recent weeks but only 1 point separates these two sides. It’s not so much that I think they will win because I think this could be any result but just think it’s good value. Ac Milan played away in Europe on Thursday but rested a lot of players so I don’t think it will impact them too much. Worth a small stakes double.
