Enzo Maresca has won his first two Premier League games since taking the reins at Manchester City and it would be a surprise if his side slipped up at home to Coventry City today.
After an unconvincing 2-1 triumph against Bournemouth in their opener, Manchester City were much more impressive as they romped to a 4-1 victory at Crystal Palace.
They now face a Coventry side who have lost their first two matches since winning promotion so it's hard to hold out much hope for Frank Lampard's men at the Etihad.
Manchester City vs Coventry City top betting tips
Bet365 can't see Coventry springing a surprise as they make Lampard's side 14/1 rank outsiders, with Manchester City just 1/7 for the win.
Coventry lost 3-0 away to Arsenal and also drew a blank in last week's 1-0 home defeat by Hull. That suggests they lack the firepower to cause an upset and backing City to win both halves pays evens.
Manchester City usually dominate possession and we should see a few corners as they try to break Coventry down.
They won eight at home to Bournemouth, a figure also matched by Arsenal when they hosted Coventry. So I fancy over 7/5 Manchester City corners today and it offers decent value at evens with Bet365.
Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur prop up the Premier League pile after two games and that's not something the board would have expected after investing over £300million in players during this summer's window.
The performance last weekend in the 2-0 home loss to Newcastle was better than the pitiful display in their 3-0 loss at Bournemouth and it will be interesting to see how they fare at Nottingham Forest today.
Forest started with back-to-back defeats in league and cup at home to Leeds but improved last weekend in a 2-2 draw at Anfield.
Oliver Glasner is a shrewd manager so the home win could offer a bit of value today at 7/5 if Spurs continue to defend so poorly.
Daniel Munoz suited Glasner's system perfectly at Crystal Palace and has now joined his former boss in Nottingham. The Colombian wing-back is a tempting 13/5 with Bet365 for a goal or assist if he's given a starting slot for his debut.
Rangers vs Motherwell
Derek McInnes has eased some of the pressure by leading Rangers to back-to-back wins in the SPFL Premiership but faces a tough test today when in-form Motherwell come calling.
The Steelmen only lost one of their four meetings with Rangers last term and effectively sounded the death knell for an Ibrox title bid when they won 3-2 on their last trip to Govan.
New boss Alfred Johansson has continued the good work of predecessor Jens Berthel Askou and Motherwell are unbeaten in their four Premiership games so far.
Although Rangers have defeated Aberdeen and Falkirk in the last week, neither performance was convincing so I'm tempted by the 13/8 on offer at Bet365 for Motherwell in the double chance.
Backing goals at both ends looks a safer bet though and combining BTTS with over 2.5 strikes pays 11/10 with most firms.
Kim Minsu looks the pick of Rangers' summer recruits and the lively Korean is 13/8 at Bet365 to grab a first goal for his new club.
