They ground out that 1-0 win over Aberdeen but it was more down to the Dons' limitations up front than expert defending from Rangers.
McInnes is fortunate that his side now face a Falkirk side who have also lacked punch up front, with their only Premiership strike so far coming via an own goal.
That makes me think Rangers will edge another victory and combining the away win with under 4.5 goals pays a decent evens at Bet365.
New boy Kim Minsu was the only real bright spark for Rangers at Pittodrie and the Korean also looks good value at evens for a goal or an assist tonight.
Motherwell vs Dundee United
Motherwell have made an impressive start to the season under new boss Alfred Johansson and are odds-on favourites for a win when Dundee United come calling in the SPFL Premiership tonight.
There was a danger the Steelmen would be knocked off track after losing manager Jens Berthel Askou plus star players Elijah Just and Elliot Watt this summer.
But Johansson still has them playing some lovely football and it's all the more impressive given a host of players have been out injured.
Dundee United head to Fir Park buoyed by a 4-0 win over Kilmarnock that ended a worrying slump in form since their opening draw with Rangers.
Gaffer Jim Goodwin is still missing due to illness though and I fancy Motherwell at 19/20 for another win. Adding on over 1.5 goals boosts their odds to 5/4 at Bet365.
New signing Jardell Kanga announced himself with a spectacular leveller off the bench on Sunday in the 3-3 draw with St Mirren.
If that earns him a start, the Swedish youth international could offer some value at 7/5 for a goal or assist.
