Most of the action in Serie A is reserved for Sunday, but Saturday’s fixtures are certainly not to be missed.

Genoa and Fiorentina will kick off the programme with a tough battle at the bottom of the table, followed by the champions’ match as they host Parma. Later in the day, we have Napoli, who need to get their season back on track after a poor start.

Below you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all Serie A matches on Saturday.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions

Genoa vs. Fiorentina (2pm)

Stadio Luigi Ferraris is set to host a tough clash between two teams at the bottom of the table, with Genoa looking for their first win of the season against Fiorentina, who are in no better position.

Both teams are struggling defensively, but the difference is that before the international break we saw a clear improvement from La Viola. The visitors are unbeaten in three consecutive matches, most recently securing a draw against Napoli.

In my view, this will be one of the most closely contested matches on Saturday, and there’s a very good chance of a draw. But if Fiorentina continue on the same trajectory, it would be no surprise if they were to win away from home.

Inter Milan vs. Parma (5pm)

Winning the title this season will require Inter to be flawless from start to finish, so they need a win when they host Parma, who changed their manager during the international break.

Inter’s home form so far has been nothing short of spectacular – their three matches have featured a total of 18 goals, with them scoring 12 of those.

Parma have suffered four consecutive away defeats in Serie A, one of which came against Inter at the end of last season. I expect this result to be repeated despite the changes.

Napoli vs. Frosinone (7:45pm)

Napoli finished second last season, but at the start of this one they are already behind Frosinone, who just got promoted. The visitors are one of the pleasant surprises of the season, having dominated Como in their last match before the break.

Historically speaking, the hosts shouldn’t be worried about this match, having won six consecutive games against league newcomers, but Frosinone haven’t lost an away league match for over a year.

It’s entirely possible that Napoli will come back transformed after the international break and dominate, but in my view, Frosinone have what it takes to spring a surprise on them. Let’s not forget, either, that they’ve scored six goals in their last two away matches at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
