Everton will be aiming to maintain their recent good run of form as they welcome Luton Town to Goodison Park for a Premier League fixture. Everton are finally off the mark for the season as they claimed an impressive 3-1 victory at Brentford in their previous Premier League fixture. They made their intentions clear with an early strike from Abdoulaye Doucoure while second half efforts from James Tarkowski and Dominic Calvert-Lewin sealed the win.
The Toffees followed up that win with a 2-1 victory at Aston Villa in a midweek EFL Cup clash with Calvert-Lewin on target once again. The result means Sean Dyche’s men have now lost just once in their last five matches, although they are yet to keep a single clean sheet this season.
A strange thing about Everton’s campaign so far is that they have done their best work on the road. They have lost all three of their matches at Goodison Park and are also yet to find the net in front of their fans.
Luton Town are coming off a defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by League One side Exeter City in a midweek Carabao Cup clash. Rob Edwards' side saw more of the possession but lacked the cutting edge in attack with Cauly Woodrow striking the woodwork.
That result worsened an already difficult campaign for Luton Town, who are currently in the bottom three and looking like early candidates for relegation. They did show some fight in their previous Premier League fixture, coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to Carlton Morris’ second half penalty.
The draw with Wolves earned Luton Town their first point of the season as they had lost all of their previous four Premier League matches. The goals have also been few and far between with just three goals scored so far, two of which have come from Morris.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still trying to regain full fitness after injury problems but is already getting among the goals. The striker has found the net in his last two matches and is priced at 2/1 by William Hill to maintain that scoring run.
Carlton Morris appears to be the biggest attacking threat for Luton Town having scored two of the team’s three Premier League goals so far. The striker could be worth keeping an eye on at 7/2 with Paddy Power.
