Still searching for their first Premier League wins of the season, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur square off at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Forest responded well to an opening-day 1-0 defeat at home to Leeds by battling to a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have endured a miserable start to the campaign, following up a 3-0 defeat away at Brentford with a 2-0 home loss to Newcastle last time out.
Morgan Gibbs-White To Be Fouled 1+ Time
Morgan Gibbs-White to be fouled has been a regular feature of this column in recent weeks, and I'm more than happy to go back to the well at the City Ground on Saturday.
Gibbs-White was fouled once at Anfield last weekend, helping my Bet Builder land, having also been brought down twice against Leeds on the opening weekend. That continues an eye-catching trend, with the Forest talisman now drawing at least one foul in 14 of his last 15 Premier League appearances.
There is every chance that run continues against Tottenham, with Gibbs-White likely to cross paths with the likes of Mateus Fernandes, Rodrigo Bentancur and Sandro Tonali. The Spurs trio have committed 11 fouls between them across the opening two league games of the season, which strengthens the case for Gibbs-White to draw at least one on Saturday.
Dan Ndoye To Be Fouled 1+ Time
The second and final leg of the Bet Builder also focuses on a Nottingham Forest player, with Dan Ndoye fancied to be fouled at least once. The Forest winger has been operating in a more inverted role under Oliver Glasner's renowned 3-4-3 system, which regularly brings him into congested areas of the pitch.
Ndoye has drawn at least one foul in both of Forest's Premier League games this season, continuing a trend that was also evident at the World Cup. The Switzerland international was fouled 16 times across his country's six matches at the tournament, finishing as one of the most fouled players in the competition.
With Ndoye likely to drift into areas patrolled by the aforementioned Fernandes, Bentancur and Tonali, he looks like another prime candidate to draw at least one foul on Saturday.
