You know it's a quiet one when Queen's Park's visit to Airdrieonians is one of the few highlights on a Friday night sandwiched in between two rounds of World Cup qualifiers.
The Spiders have aspirations of being the third biggest club in Glasgow and would love nothing more than to add some cup silverware to substantiate that claim. Despite being the third most succesful team in the history of the Scottish Cup they've not won a major cup since '93 – Eighteen Ninety-Three!
The most recent meeting between the sides, back in July ended 0-0 (Airdrie won on pens) so it could be a case of both sides cancelling each other out again. KevMac reckons we could see another tight affair in his match preview.
Queen's Park are favourites to win inside the 90 minutes at 1/1 (bet365), which if this was a league match would be snapped up based on the two sides relative league positions in League One and their performances to date.
Tolu has dipped in to the SSE Airtricity Premier Division in Ireland for his match preview between Finn Harps and champions Shamrock Rovers. Neither side have been in great form recently but Rovers hold the upper hand in this fixture and he's backing them to make it six league wins in a row.
