PARTICK THISTLE are coming with a late charge in the league no one wants to win and can take care of fellow promotion hopefuls Ayr United at Firhill.
The Jags bizarrely binned Ian McCall the same night as a battling Scottish Cup defeat at Rangers, but what a job Thistle legend Kris Doolan has done.
He's lost just once in nine matches and that's largely been down to a defence that looks solid. They've only conceded just two goals in that time.
They are pretty handy up front too after nine goals in their last two games having demolished Cove Rangers and Queen's Park.
Thistle have plenty of experienced pros in their squad who know how to win and they are the form team in the Championship where so many teams have slipped up.
Ayr have won just three games since the start of February and their Scottish Cup loss at League One Falkirk seems to have impacted them. Back Thistle at 6/5.
CALEY THISTLE are another team who have found form at the right time of the season and they have to be backed at evens to win at Cove Rangers.
Billy Dodds' side made it four league wins on the spin and six wins out of seven when they defeated in-form Arbroath in midweek and they've kicked on after a disappointing season.
They have a Scottish Cup semi-final to look forward to against Falkirk and that seems to have galvanised the club and a long injury list has cleared.
Their run has included three clean sheets in four and they now have a real chance of squeezing into the play-off spots, which looked unlikely until very recently.
Cove did snatch a point last week at Hamilton, but their form at their Balmoral Stadium is dismal. They have drawn just two of their last seven matches at home and ICT should be too strong for them at evens.
HEARTS sacked Robbie Neilson this week and they can get a new manager's bounce at an enticing 2/1 to win at Hibs in the capital derby on Saturday lunchtime.
The Gorgie side have been in freefall, but they still have a huge squad and Steven Naismith has plenty of options for his trip across the city in his first game in charge.
Hibs were awful last week in defeat at Dundee United and pressure is seriously growing with Lee Johnson, who has a poor record in this game with a couple of 3-0 pumpings from Hearts already.
It's worth the price that Hearts will show a reaction and win.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- PARTICK THISTLE 6-5
- CALEY THISTLE evens
- HEARTS 2/1
