Following on from Monday’s winner in Spain, Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the European semi-finals, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

A week on from their nine-goal thriller in the French capital, Bayern Munich and PSG face off again in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie at the Allianz Arena in what promises to be another high-scoring encounter.
Vincent Kompany’s hosts have fired in an incredible 42 goals across their opening 13 Champions League fixtures this season, with 20 (48%) of them coming at home.
The Bavarians have found the back of the net in all 13 of their Champions League clashes this term, scoring two or more in 12 (92%) of them – and even 3+ on eight (62%) occasions – and are expected to continue their frightening goal-scoring record this season against a PSG defence that’s kept just four clean sheets across their last 14 continental clashes.
Luis Enrique’s visitors have fired in an equally-impressive 43 goals across their opening 15 Champions League encounters this campaign, with 18 (42%) of them coming on their travels.
The Parisians have blanked in just one of their 15 Champions League fixtures this season, scoring 2+ goals in 11 (73%) of them – including in each of their past seven – and they too are expected to add to their impressive goal-tally against a Bayern backline that’s kept just two clean sheets in Europe this season.

Bayern Munich’s matches have been full of goals all season, but particularly in recent months, with 12 of their past 16 going Over 4.5 Goals, including in four of their last five in this competition.
PSG’s opening 15 Champions League fixtures have averaged a whopping 4.27 goals per game, with Over 3.5 Goals paying out in seven (47%) of them, whilst five (33%) have seen five or more goals.
Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 4.25 Asian goal line. This would mean if there are exactly four goals scored, we will lose just half of our stake, whilst five or more strikes will reward a full payout.
