Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid (Tuesday, 20:00)
The Emirates Stadium will host the second leg of Arsenal’s Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
It was honours even in the Spanish capital last week, with the sides playing out a 1-1 draw – landing an 11/2 winner for this column.
A repeat of that scoreline wouldn’t come as a surprise, so backing both teams to score looks worth supporting.
Notably, both sides have found the net in 13 of Atletico Madrid’s 15 Champions League matches this season.
A closer inspection shows that five of those BTTS winners have come on the road, including four of the last five.
While Arsenal are rightly renowned for their defensive solidity, BTTS would have paid out in two of their last four Champions League home fixtures, further strengthening the case for a repeat on Tuesday night.
Bayern Munich vs PSG (Wednesday, 20:00)
With a place in this season’s Champions League final at stake, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain go head-to-head in the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night.
The star-studded heavyweights served up a real spectacle last week, with PSG edging a breathless 5-4 victory in the French capital to take a narrow advantage into the return leg.
With neither team likely to take their foot off the gas at the Allianz Arena this midweek, all signs point towards another entertaining encounter.
Despite winning four of their six Champions League home matches this season, Bayern have failed to keep a clean sheet in four of those victories.
The most recent of those was a thrilling 4-3 victory over Real Madrid, and another high-scoring triumph cannot be ruled out here.
As for PSG, 10 of their 15 continental outings this term have seen both teams score, including four of their seven assignments away from the Parc des Princes.
Freiburg vs Braga (Thursday, 20:00)
Freiburg and Braga will face off in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday night.
The German hosts head into the return fixture with a 2-1 deficit to overturn.
That defeat means both teams have scored in three of Freiburg’s last four matches in Europe’s secondary club competition.
The trend has also been on show in the Bundesliga this season, with BTTS landing in 13 of Freiburg’s 16 league games at home to date.
Now set to face a dangerous Braga side for the second time in seven days, there is plenty of scope for that pattern to continue.
The Portuguese outfit ran out 4-2 winners at Real Betis in their most recent Europa League away match, which only adds to the appeal of backing goals at both ends in the Black Forest.
