Tottenham Hotspur flopped in their Premier League opener so Roberto De Zerbi desperately needs a morale-boosting win tonight as they host Charlton in the EFL Cup.
Spurs were lucky to lose just 3-0 at Brentford on Saturday night as their expensively-assembled team was ripped apart by the buzzing Bees.
That has left fans worried another season of underachievement awaits them and a loss to Charlton tonight would send more tension rippling through the stands.

Charlton have made an excellent start to the Championship campaign, with a surprise 2-1 win away to title favourites West Ham making it six points from six.
They also won 3-1 away to Chelteham in the last round of the EFL Cup but Bet365 still make the Addicks 10/1 rank outsiders for a win in 90 minutes tonight.
Tottenham are 2/9 favourites and there should be a response from De Zerbi's side after such a woeful weekend display.
The Italian should make plenty of changes and I'm expecting Dominic Solanke to start after coming off the bench at Brentford.
The striker is just 10/11 for a goal but combining that with a win for Spurs takes you to 21/20 at Bet365.
Rapid Vienna vs Heart of Midlothian
It's a big night for Hearts as they bid to avoid crashing out of a third European competition this summer in their Conference League play-off clash with Rapid Vienna.
The Jambos were battered 6-0 on aggregate by Sturm Graz in the Champions League qualifiers then lost 7-2 across two legs against Benfica after dropping down to the Europa League.
They are now facing another exit from the third-tier competition after only drawing 2-2 at home to Rapid Vienna in the first leg.
Rapid had won seven games in a row before that Tynecastle stalemate so it's not a big surprise to see them as 4/7 favourites for a win tonight.
This should be another good watch as Jambos boss Wouter Vrancken always sets up to attack. Combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays 21/20 at Bet365 while the same firm offer a tempting 11/8 on the Austrians scoring in each half.
Lyon vs Fenerbahce
There's also four Champions League play-off ties tonight and the clash between Lyon and Fenerbahce in France takes top billing.
It's advantage Lyon after a 1-1 draw in Istanbul last week as Turkish clubs traditionally don't fare well away from home in Europe.
Bet365 make the Ligue 1 outfit 17/20 favourites for a win on the night and that looks decent value. You can boost the odds to 13/10 by adding on over 1.5 goals.
We only saw three cards in the first leg but I'm expecting a stormier affair tonight as the tie comes to a conclusion.
You have to go to over 5.5 cards to get to 11/10 at Bet365 but I'm more drawn to Fenerbahce -1 in the card handicap, which pays 2/1.
