Wednesday’s football tips: Go for a fouls double at evens as Bayern Munich battle Arsenal

There are some more mouthwatering games in the UEFA Champions League tonight and two of the tournament favourites collide in London as Arsenal host Bayern Munich.

Both sides have perfect records so far and Bayern claimed a notable scalp scalp in the last round of games when they beat holders PSG in Paris.

Vincent Kompany's side are unbeaten in 18 games this term, winning 17, but can they now unlock one of the meanest defences in Europe?

Arsenal's form this season is almost as impressive as Bayern's, with Mikel Arteta's men losing just once all season.

That 1-0 defeat at Anfield came way back in August and they're 5/4 favourites with home advantage tonight at Betway.

Bayern are as big as 21/10 at William Hill and that looks a little generous but it's best staying away from backing a winner as this game could go either way.

Paris St-Germain vs Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham were thrashed 4-1 by Arsenal in Sunday's north London derby so it's hard to hold out much hope for them against European champions Paris St-Germain tonight.

Thomas Frank can take a bit of heart from the fact his side were 2-0 up against PSG in the Super Cup before a late collapse saw them lose the game on penalties.

But after such a dismal display at the weekend, Spurs are 8/1 outsiders with Bet365 while PSG's best price is just 2/5 at Coral.

Frank tried to park the bus at the Emirates but his plan backfired as Arsenal's slick football exposed his defence.

It will be interesting to see what tactical approach he takes tonight but PSG's high-tempo football should push Spurs on to the back foot again.

Liverpool vs PSV Eindhoven

Liverpool's season continues to go from bad to worse and they head into tonight's Champions League clash with PSV on a downer after being thrashed 3-0 at home by Nottingham Forest.

That made it seven defeats in their last eight domestic games but they've fared better in Europe, with three wins out of four so far.

That's why the bookies make Arne Slot's odds-on favourites tonight at a best 1/3, although a few punters will fancy a flutter on the Dutch side at 7/1 with Bet365.
