Tuesday’s World Cup playoff betting tips and predictions

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Italy (19:45)

Bosnia v Italy

Tipster: SlipsTips

Both seeking to secure a place at this year’s World Cup, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Italy will do battle in a play-off final tie at the Bilino Polje Stadium on Tuesday night.

Tip 1: Italy To Qualify & Goal Range 1-3

In what could be a cagey affair, backing Italy to qualify alongside a goal range of 1-3 looks worthy of support at 4/5 on bet365.

This combination would have paid out in Italy's 2-0 victory over Northern Ireland last time out.

Tip 2: Over 1.5 Italy Goals

Backing Italy to score two or more goals at 5/6 on bet365 also catches the eye – this selection would have proven profitable in seven of the Azzurri’s last eight matches.

Tip 3: Sandro Tonali To Score or Assist

After his impressive performance against Northern Ireland, where he scored a goal and set up another, Sandro Tonali offers good value at 9/4 on bet365 to either score or assist on Tuesday night.

Czechia vs Denmark (19:45)

Czechia v Denmark

Tipster: TheBettingDesk

Czechia vs Denmark takes place at EPET Arena on Tuesday in the World Cup 2026 European play off final. A place at the World Cup is on the line, with Czechia aiming to end a long absence since 2006 and Denmark targeting another qualification.

Tip 1: Both teams to score

Both teams also rank highly for big chances, with Czechia creating 35 and Denmark 24. This confirms both sides produce clear scoring opportunities.

Czechia’s ability to sustain pressure and Denmark’s higher shot volume and finishing efficiency create a balanced attacking matchup. With both teams generating chances and allowing opportunities against them, both teams to score is well supported.

Tip 2: Denmark over 1.5 goals

Denmark match that threat with a more aggressive approach. They average 20.00 shots and 7.29 shots on target per game, both higher than Czechia. Their conversion rate is stronger at 0.14 goals per shot compared to Czechia’s 0.12. This shows they turn chances into goals more efficiently.

Kosovo vs Turkey (19:45)

Kosovo v Turkey

Tipster: Kevin Mac

Kosovo stand on the brink of history as they bid to qualify for their first major finals but the minnows will need to upset the odds to topple Turkey in their World Cup play-off final.

Tip 1: Turkey to win

The Turks impressed at Euro 2024 and also pushed Spain hard in World Cup qualifying, with a heavy loss at home to the European champions their only defeat.

Vincenzo Montella's side beat Romania 1-0 in their semi-final last week and will head to Kosovo with their tails up.

Tip 2: Kenan Yildiz to score or assist

Kenan Yildiz is another player enjoying an excellent season at club level with Juventus. The Turkey forward has scored 14 times this season and is a tempting 5/4 with Bet365 for a goal or assist.

Tip 3: Elvis Rexhbecaj to be carded

Elvis Rexhbecaj not only has a fantastic name, he also possess a bit of a temper. The Augsburg midfielder has picked up five yellows this term and is 6/4 with Bet365 to go into the book again.

Sweden vs Poland (19:45)

Sweden v Poland

Tipster: Vladislav Tchakarov

Four years ago, on almost the same date, Poland hosted Sweden at the Superauto.pl Stadion Slaski for a final qualifying match for the previous World Cup and defeated them. Now the two nations are facing off again for the same prize, but this time in Sweden.

Tip 1: BTTS

However, it is possible it won’t happen in regulation, as Poland have proven extremely tough to beat. Therefore, we recommend BTTS as the main bet.

Tip 2: Draw

While a draw should be considered a risky bonus option.

Tip 3: Viktor Gyokeres to score anytime

Viktor Gyokeres is far from the form we’ve come to expect from him at the club level in recent years, but he remains the spearhead of Sweden’s attack and the first choice in every match.

It’s important to note that until last week, he hadn’t scored a goal in these qualifiers in four appearances, but he scored a hat-trick against Ukraine.
