Unai Emery's side endured a difficult start to the season with a bruising 4-0 defeat away at Brighton, while Arsenal made light work of Coventry in a comfortable 3-0 victory.
I've already shared a player-based selection ahead of this one, but there's also a two-legged Bet Builder that has caught my eye.
John McGinn To Be Fouled 2+ Times
The first leg of the Bet Builder is John McGinn to be fouled at least twice.
The Aston Villa captain is no stranger to drawing fouls, and he picked up where he left off last season by winning four free kicks against Brighton last weekend.
McGinn was drawing an average of 2.00 fouls per game in the Premier League last term, so he looks well placed to be brought down at least twice again on Monday night.
He's likely to come up against Riccardo Calafiori, who averaged 1.37 fouls per 90 in the Premier League last season, while McGinn's tendency to drift inside should also see him cross paths with Myles Lewis-Skelly, who committed two fouls against Coventry last time out.
Boubacar Kamara To Commit 1+ Foul
For the second leg of the Bet Builder, I'm backing Boubacar Kamara to commit at least one foul.
The Frenchman does plenty of the dirty work in the Aston Villa midfield, and he should have his hands full against Arsenal on Monday night.
Kamara was averaging 1.08 fouls per game in the Premier League before suffering a season-ending injury last term, while he was penalised twice away at Brighton last weekend.
With the Villa midfielder likely to cross paths with Myles Lewis-Skelly, who was drawing an average of 2.19 fouls per game in the Premier League last season, Kamara looks like a prime candidate to overstep the mark at least once.
The two selections combine to form a 5/6 Bet Builder that looks good value.
