A new contract is on the table for West Ham manager Davie Moyes but he’s been non-committal so far as to whether he’ll be in charge of the Hammers come next season.

A lot will no doubt depend on what happens between now and the end of the season and he really needs a result to reignite their campaign.

Things were looking up at the end of 2023, West Ham had just beaten title contenders Arsenal at the Emirates and were just four points off the top four. Fast forward almost two months and the Hammers haven’t won a game since, including an early FA Cup exit at the hands of Bristol City.

Tonight they’ve the chance to put three points on the board against a Brentford side who have lost 11 of the their last 14 Premier League matches.

It’s been a tough run of fixtures for the Bees to be fair, four of their last five matches have seen defeats to Manchester City (twice), Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. But they’ve not been short of goals, especially since the return of Ivan Toney. Only Manchester City have shut them out in their last 11 fixtures.

Toney is 6/4 to score this evening and teammate Neal Maupay who has scored in all of his four league starts against West Ham is 9/4 to net.

West Ham are 6/4 to win whilst the visitors are 7/4 and really you could make a case for either taking the three points. So let’s look at a BetBuilder;

A first half goal has been scored in West Ham’s last seven and in 11 of Brentford’s last 12. We already know that the Bees are in good goalscoring form, so add them to grab at least one goal and a West Ham goal takes us to 20/23.

FA CUP . Coventry v Maidstone. Bet builder- Coventry o 3 corners both halves and -5 corners. 21/10. WH. Coventry are the 2nd highest corner earners in the league..Maidstone lost 11-0 [5-0] on corners at Ipswich in the last rd so i expect this game to go along the same route. Good luck all.

Just the one bet for me today from Portugal
    Boavista- braga. Btts o2.5gls
Going off h2hs and respective home/away results I’m expecting a few goals and both teams to contribute here. Boavista rarely fail to score at home and braga rarely fail to score away or keep a clean sheet. Do think there could be more goals.
    Decent odds of 11/10

    F.A Cup (Tuesday)
    Banker double
    Blackburn v Newcastle
    Newcastle to win at 1/2
    Luton v Man City
Man City to win at 2/7

Newcastle’s only chance of Silverware or a day out at Wembley comes in the form of the F.A Cup and they will be all out to try and get to the final, team news won’t be needed here as we know they will go as strong as possible which should see them get through to the next round.

Pep has been taking risks by keeping star man Kevin De Bruyne on the bench and bringing him on late when needed, either that’s down to De Bruyne not being 100% or Pep saving him for the latter stages of the Premier League where City still have Arsenal and Liverpool to play. That aside Pep won’t want to give this cup up though and he certainly won’t want the most decorated club in England further adding to their tally, he also won’t want a replay!

Certainly wouldn’t put anyone off adding Bournemouth to make it a treble but I’m happy with the double, Weds F. A Cup games are certainly a no bet from me anyway.
    Best of luck

Just seen your post from last night Elvis – just the 5 yellows and no reds in the Boca game…very tame for them 😂

    Fiorentina v Lazio 19:45
1+ Lazio goal and 50+ booking points 11/8 Sky
    Girona v Rayo Vallecano
BTTS and 20+ booking points 5/6 Sky
    3.35/1 double Sky

In Italy, the combo would have landed in last 5 H2Hs. Lazio have scored in their last five. Fiorentina have conceded in their previous seven. Four of Fiorentina’s last five matches have seen 50+ booking points. Ten of Lazio’s previous 13 games have seen 50+ booking points

In Spain, last 5 H2Hs have seen goals at both ends – including at Girona in the Copa del Rey last month. All of Rayo Vallecano’s games this season have seen 20 or more booking points. GL
