AMIR KABIR (4.50) landed some hefty bets on seasonal return at Wolverhampton 19 days ago and should go close in the 1m 2f handicap at Windsor.
It is a competitive event but a 3lb rise seems very fair as Amir Kabir fits the profile of a typical Roger Charlton three-year-old improver.
KODIAC HARBOUR (8.30) should strip a bit tighter after his solid fourth to Gin Palace at Newbury 16 days ago and Robyn Brisland’s top weight will go off an each-way price in the mile handicap at Thirsk. The winner won again at Newmarket yesterday.
Kodiac Harbour scored twice last season for previous handler Paul George, those victories coming at Leicester and Lingfield. Kind Review was well on top at the finish at Leicester last time and Tracy Waggott has the gelding at the top of his game.
