It's been a while since a 2pt horse has run as badly as Morris Dancer did.

I didn't pay much attention to the odds close to the off, but I saw that he was a huge drifter when I checked after the race. 9/4 was the price he was sent off at, and it really does stink.

As for The Third Star, you've got to feel for him. I got it wrong with the winner, who proved that he could handle the heavy weight and the fast ground, but the runner-up has bumped into another well-handicapped horse.

Get Outta Here 3/1 (1pt) – York 3.55

David Menuisier's strike rate this season isn't impressive, but I think he's got a lot of well-handicapped horses in his stable, and it's a matter of time before they win.

I believe that Get Outta Here is one of the well-handicapped horses in his ranks, and he's been running well since transitioning to handicaps. He won on his handicap debut before running a close second at Goodwood in a higher-class race. The winner of the Goodwood race has won again since, and she did it with relative ease. To add this, the others in that race have franked the form. Mr Writer (5th) won at Leicester last weekend.

This won't be an easy race, but getting 3/1 as the market favourite seems more than fair from a horse who looks to have plenty more to give for a very talented trainer.

Our Cody 3/1 (1pt) – Newmarket 4.45

After tipping Our Cody up in a previous Lucky 15 where she was a late non-runner, I've got to give her a chance in this contest.

She has Class 1 form, and she isn't on a particularly high handicap mark. If she could replicate her run from Sandown, I think she could easily be ahead of the handicapper. The form looks decent; a horse down the field has since won a Listed race.

She was unruly in the preliminaries at York, which is a bit of a concern as we now know she can lose her head. However, Ryan Moore is in the saddle, which is always a great jockey booking, but especially for this yard, who revert to Ryan for the big moments.

This race is mainly full of older horses who have a fair amount of miles on the clock, and it's screaming out for a younger, more unexposed horse to come and sweep them off their feet. Our Cody is the one for that.
