Saturday’s Racing Tips – Act Of Authority can kick start Grand National Day with a win in the opener

Day two was definitely a better result for my fancies, and it was nice to see She's A Saint winning at odds of 25/1 after being advised 20/1. What a ride Tristan Durrell gave She's A Saint. I honestly gave up watching when she was turning for home, as...

Friday’s Nap of the Day: Old Gregorian not to be overlooked in Friday’s Aintree finale

Well, it’s fair to say that Thursday’s Nap certainly ran better than very chunky early odds indicated that he would, with Inedit Star picking up some lovely place money in third. A pleasing result indeed. Moving on to Friday’s action, ahead of which I’m interested in the final race...

Friday’s Racing Tips – Rizzel has picked out three each-way plays for Day 2 of the Grand National Festival

Day 1 of the Aintree Grand National Festival was a profitable one if you were on the Willie Mullins horses as he managed to land a four-timer, unfortunately, I was not! Ahoy Senor never looked happy in his race. He jumped well for most of the race, but Patrick...

Thursday’s Nap of the Day: Could Inedit Star become a suprise star on the opening day at Aintree?

I ended last week with Sunday’s Nap, which returned a little bit of each-way money, with Game On, advised at 9/1, taking third at Downpatrick. This week, I’ve kept my powder dry until the opening day of the Grand National Festival at Aintree, ahead of which, I like one...

Thursday’s Racing Tips – Milan Forth is the value pick in the Foxhunters’ Chase

I apologise for Wednesday's selections, they were a pair of duds. Broderick never looked happy. His jumping was sticky, and I thought we were in trouble down the back straight as the leader was going extremely well and jumping like a buck. As for the other selection, the market...

Sunday’s Nap of the Day: Long Draw looks well placed at Aintree

Having been well backed, after taking an age to get going, Mokaatil ran on well up the inside to take third at Chelmsford last night, proving that early odds of 16/1 were indeed on the generous side.  On Sunday, I like the look of Long Draw at Aintree, whose...
