Tuesday’s football tips: PSG decent value at 7/5 to draw first blood in Euro epic with Bayern Munich

Europe's most exciting teams go head to head in the Champions League semi-finals tonight as Paris St-Germain host Bayern Munich.

The French giants look in good shape to retain their European crown after swatting aside Chelsea and Liverpool in the knockout stages.

But they now go up against a Bayern side who beat Real Madrid home and away in the quarter-finals as part of a stunning 19-game unbeaten run.

This is a tricky one to call with both teams looking so impressive in the Champions League this season.

The bookies make Bayern Munich slight favourites to reach the final but I've a feeling their high defensive line could be a problem.

Real stars Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior got plenty of joy on the counter attack in Munich and PSG possess the same kind of pace in their attack.

So Luis Enrique's men appeal at 7/5 with BetVictor for a win on home turf in tonight's first leg while backing them to reach the final pays 11/10 with Bet365.

The German giants should offer a threat going forward as well though and red-hot striker Harry Kane is 5/4 at Unibet for over 1.5 efforts on target.

Southampton vs Ipswich Town

The race for automatic promotion in the EFL Championship is hurtling towards a dramatic finale and Southampton can make it a four-way fight if they beat Ipswich Town tonight.

The Tractor Boys are in the box seat and a win at St Mary's would pretty much nail down second spot, given they would be three points clear of Millwall with a vastly superior goal difference heading into the final round of fixtures.

But if Ipswich lose then only one point will separate second from fourth, setting up an incredible day of drama on Saturday.

Saints are the form team in the division, although their 20-game unbeaten run in all competitions came to a heart-breaking end at Wembley on Saturday as Manchester City scored two late goals to beat them in the FA Cup semi-final.

Betfred still make Southampton 5/4 favourites tonight and Ipswich look a little overpriced at 21/10 with Ladbrokes as they bid to secure a Premier League return.

Both teams will be going for it in what should be an open game so I fancy over 10.5 corners at 11/10 with Paddy Power.

Peterborough United vs Mansfield Town

Peterborough United have the chance to secure safety in EFL League One tonight when they host Mansfield Town.

Posh sit three points ahead of fourth-bottom Exeter and that means a point would be enough tonight to banish the spectre of relegation.

Mansfield sit mid-table with nothing to play for so I'm tempted by the 6/4 on offer at Bet365 for a home win, although these sides could easily play out a stalemate.

Peterborough should have most of the pressure as the only team with something and stake and they're a decent 11/10 at QuinnBet to win most corners.
