Euro 2020 favourites France are in action on Tuesday ahead of embarking on their attempt to become dual World and European Champions.

Didier Deschamps side host Bulgaria for their final warm-up match and nothing other than a comfortable win is expected.  Germany are first up for the French a week today in Group F in a match that could tell us much about either sides respective chances of winning the tournament.

Deschamps has an embarrassment of riches going forward and that's reflected in the fact that five players are odds-on to score anytime against the Bulgarians. The French gaffer will probably make use of his squad for the match but you'd expect them to wrap up their preparations with a comfortable win. They're not backable at 1/10 but a BetBuilder on them to score two or more while keeping clean sheet pays 4/5.

Czech Republic, Poland and Spain are also in action on Tuesday. The former's match against Albania will be of particular interest to the English and Scottish who are alongside them in Group D, infact the Scots open their Euro 2020 campaign against the Czech on Monday.

It's a match Steve Clarke will have identified as his best chance to secure three points, especially considering Scotland have won the last two meetings between the sides.

Albania are a side who have shown considerable improvement in recent years and the 5/4 on them in the Double Chance market offers some appeal against a Czech side who have won just six of their last 13. The Scots are still trading around 2/1 for a win in the opener and that price could shorten if Czech Republic fail to win tonight.

    Hungary vs Rep Ireland
Ireland are on a pretty awful run under Kenny , with world powerhouses Andorra , Qatar and Luxembourg all netting against them in the past few months , and a lengthy injury list to go with it. Hungary warm up for their group of death here, and I can’t see Ireland’s fortunes getting any better, friendly or not. Hungary are normally good for a card … against anybody really, and just can’t see past them scoring either.

Hungary to score and receive a card @ 23/20 (bet365)

Add a card for Ireland to above @ 21/10 (bet365)

    Hungary over 1.5tgs @ 2/1 (bet365)

    Good luck all 🤞

    Euro 2020 Winners
    FRANCE 5/1 paddy power

    Euro 2020 NAP
    FRANCE over 8.5 Tournament Goals
    1/1 william hill

I am looking forward to working at the Euro 2020I Championships before I head back to America and the NFL after the final,
Shock time as I go for the favourites but you don’t need to get creative to back the winners this time,

I have placed my two biggest bets ever on these two bets above but I urge people to only bet what they can afford,
I have France scoring 18 goals in this tournament so it makes the over 8.5 at william hill look a standout bet for my NAP, I even have them scoring 9 goals in their 3 group games against Germany, Poland and Hungary,
I think it’s scary how much stronger on paper this France squad is compared to other nations, it might not happen straight away with Benzema only just being recalled but could you imagine a front three of Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe, you then look at the other options upfront of Wissam Ben Yedder, Kingsley Coman, Ousmane Dembélé, Olivier Giroud and Marcus Thuram,
But Deschamps is more likely to go with Olivier Giroud to start the tournament,
Not many nations can win back-to-back World Cup and Euro Championships, only West Germany, Spain and France themselves have ever done it, looking at this France squad, it has only got stronger since the 2018 World Cup, I look at other squads and even the ones that have improved are still well short on the talent of France, their odds are bigger than they should be because of their group but I can’t see them having any problems against Germany, Portugal and Hungary with one game in Munich and two in Budapest, Portugal should be the closest rivals to France in group F but I still have them winning 3-1 against the Portuguese
France should be playing a 4-3-3 but in some games that would change to a 4-2-3-1 when Kingsley Coman plays and I expect Coman to come in against Hungary which should see them score a few goals,
In every scenario I have looked at I keep coming back to France winning this tournament, I just don’t see a weak link anywhere and they have quality backup for every position,
As I said earlier I have France scoring 18 goals so a bet on william hills over 14 goals is worth a chance at 30/1
If you think 15 is too high but you think their 8.5 line is too low then you can back over 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 with william hill under #YourOdds

FRANCE to score over 14 goals
    30/1 william hill

I want to back Scotland to qualify from group D, I’m hoping they can qualify as a best 3rd place finish but for those best 3rd place finishes you will need to score a few goals and the way we play I don’t think we are attacking enough, for a team to qualify through 3rd place they should be looking at scoring at least 4 goals from their three group games

    • Johnb 3 years ago

One part of the write up says Poland but it should say Portugal

      1
    • Deb2000 3 years ago

Johnb am already on France at 13/2 but looking into your goal bets some of those prices look good.
If your strongly fancying over 8.5 goals what do you think of the 10/11 for them to just score in each of the 3 group games seems a great price to me.

so loving the squad of swiss. i think they are the best under dogs and can give favs run for their money. atleast they have a goals fest in their matches. unlike boring top teams who cant go over 2 goals. in my opinion. euro 2020 and not giving it a name of 2021 is suspicious as it is. welcome to the great reset. let this year be for under dogs.

Unfortunately for my Wales I agree to a degree especially as the conditions in Azerbaijan will suit turkey more than Wales and Switzerland.
Can see this being one of the lowest scoring groups.

All about our first game v the Swiss for us, if we win, 3 points might get us a best 3rd place, similar with Scotland v Czech Republic in their group.
Can see us drawing with the Swiss at best 0-0 or 1-1, we won’t concede many that’s for sure, then we play turkey who may of lost to Italy in their first game so it will be a tetchy affair, and turkeys centre halves are impressive so with the conditions maybe turkey will sneak a 1-0 win.

Only hope we have in Italy is if Italy have won their first 2 games and are already through, though realistically it’s a long shot.
Think we will get one or two draws and bow out.
Hope I’m wrong and we rekindle the spirit of 2016.

Also turkey will fill the stadium due to their location, think it’s upwards of 75% attendance allowed so another disadvantage of this ridiculous tournament where bigger countries are granted home advantage, and not based on co-efficent ranking which is grossly unfair 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      Ps
I’ve said a couple of times I really rate the Scots chances of qualifying and I’ve seen nothing to change their mind.
Croatia are nowhere near the team they were and even if Scotland draw with the Czechs which is very possible I don’t see Scotland losing to Croatia, in fact I will be on them to win that game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Cape Verde
    20:00
    International Friendlies

CAPE VERDE TO SCORE 13-10 (BETWAY)
    5-4 elsewhere.

Small bet on btts and over 2.5 goals 11-4 (SKYBET)

It’s a friendly, Senegal wont play their big names for 90 minutes, they led Zambia 3-0 at the weekend then made changes and Zambia scored a consolation.
Previously they conceded home to eswatini , whoever they are 😂.

Mist likely score is 2-0 but you never know in friendlies.

Cape Verde do score a few, usually against rubbish.
No prediction as it’s a friendly.
    Maybe 2-0 3-0 or hopefully 2-1
