Derek McInnes has made a terrible start as Rangers boss so the last thing he needs right now is a long trip north to face old club Aberdeen.
Gers will miss out on European group stage football this season after a horror loss on penalties to Jablonec in the Conference League play-offs on Thursday.
They've also taken just a point from their first two SPFL Premiership fixtures so McInnes badly needs a win when he returns to Pittodrie for a tricky lunchtime kick-off.
Aberdeen vs Rangers top betting tips
Rangers put in an abject performance in the Czech Republic on Thursday and now face a Dons side who have won six of their seven games this season.
New boss Stephen Robinson has made the Reds a tougher team to beat so plenty of punters will fancy the 16/5 on offer at Bet365 for an Aberdeen win.
Robinson's teams are always a threat from set-pieces and they have a big target to hit in towering stopper Dan Happe. He's 11/1 to anytime scorer while Bet365 price the Englishman at 10/3 just the get an effort on target.
This is one of the spiciest fixtures in Scottish football so the safest option is probably backing a busy day for the referee. Over 4.5 cards pays 11/10 at Bet365 and that looks decent value.
Chelsea vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Chelsea looked pretty impressive in their Premier League opener and they're odds-on favourites to make it two wins from two when Brighton come calling today.
Xabi Alonso's first competitive game in charge showcased Chelsea's flair but also their defensive vulnerability in a 3-2 win away to Fulham.
Brighton kicked off with a rousing 4-0 victory over Aston Villa then followed it up by beating Tromso by the same scoreline in the Conference League play-offs.
That suggests they'll give Alonso's defence a test today but Bet365 still make the Blues 4/5 favourites, with the Seagulls as big as 31/10.
Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer both impressed in Chelsea's opener and look to have formed an exciting forward line with Joao Pedro.
Backing the two Englishman to have a shot on target today pays a decent 21/20 in a bet builder.
Manchester United vs Ipswich Town
All the optimism surrounding Manchester United this summer was washed away when they crashed to a 2-0 defeat at promoted Hull City in their Premier League opener.
The Red Devils will be desperate to bounce back with a win at Old Trafford today but it won't be easy against an Ipswich Town side who are also on a high after returning to the top flight.
The Tractor Boys kicked off with a win over Sunderland last weekend and will fancy their chances after watching Michael Carrick's side turn in such a poor display against the Tigers.
But Bet365 make Ipswich 13/2 outsiders and that's probably because Manchester United have won eight of their last nine at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are 2/5 favourites but if you add on over 2.5 goals it boosts the odds to 10/11 at Bet365.
Ipswich new boy Daizen Maeda presses like mad and that often sees him commit a few fouls. He committed two last weekend and backing him for at least a couple of fouls today pays 6/5.
