Tomorrow we say our final, sad farewells to our great friend, Mr Fixit.
Paul's funeral will take place at St Joseph's in Clydebank at 9.30am then Clydebank Crematorium at 11.30am.
Numbers are severely limited so his family have arranged for both ceremonies to be streamed for those wishing to pay their respects from afar.

Scottish Cup Final
The Scottish Cup Final finally brings season 2019-20 to a close in Scotland and an unprecedented quadruple Treble is at stake for Celtic if they can repeat 2019's victory over Hearts.
The Hoops' troubles have been well documented this season but the final gives them the chance to win a 12th consecutive domestical trophy and possibly the chance to kick-start a stuttering season.
Championship side Hearts, including former Celtic keeper Craig Gordon, stand in their way and they won't be without their backers at 9/1 (William Hill) to win inside 90 minutes nor at 11/2 (Bet365) to lift the trophy.
Odsonne Edouard was the matchwinner when the two sides met in the 2019 final and the Frenchman is as short as 1/2 to score at Bet365 but can be backed at a healthier 4/5 with BetVictor.

Aaron Rodgers has only thrown for less than 3 touchdowns 3 times in 13 games this season, that makes the odds of 21/20 at william hill for him to have over 2.5 passing touchdowns a good bet, especially when it’s against the poor pass defence of the Panthers which is allowing on average 250.8 yards per game, that puts them 23rd in the NFL,
it would have been worse but they started the season well and have got worse as the season goes on, away from home the Panthers are giving up on average 278.7 passing yards per game.
At 10-3 the Packers need to keep winning to guarantee home field advantage so expect Aaron Rodgers to keep doing what Aaron Rodgers does best,

Hi Macca. This anti football thing is a crock.
I know you don’t like the guy cos of all the previous history (especially Rafa v Jose cat fights and his contribution in spoiling Brendan Rodgers almost nailed on title procession ).
However he has taken a jaded Spurs side with a mentality for not winning trophies (eg: the champions league, where their previous manager wept with joy at winning the semi and didn’t set the right example to his players that actually the big game was the final).
Spurs players will absolutely love playing for him because against all odds, they are Liverpool’s only serious contenders. They are coming for you.
I don’t think they expected to be. I think at the start of the season they were prioritising the Europa as their best method of Champions League Qualification. However Jose knows it is there for the taking and he’s gonna go for it. He knows COVID and a congested fixture list is a leveller.
Liverpool are still by far the best team but circumstances have dictated that this season a freak outcome (like the Leicester season) is not inconceivable.
They will of course tire of him after 2 seasons of success but not yet my friend.
I can’t for the life of me understand why certain other teams don’t grasp the fact that the league is there for the taking this year and act accordingly. Man United with a change of manager (Alegri) would have an equally good chance.
You have to remember Spurs have not had the budget Liverpool, City, United or Chelsea have had (spending 50+ million on a goalkeeper or over £60 mil on a centre back. He has transformed them on a shoe string so while I don’t particularly like the guy, or his current club, I have to respect the job he’s doing and so too should the Jose haters of this world.

I haven’t been on the site for a while and was saddened to hear of the passing of mrfixit. Whilst I didn’t know him personally he always came across as very likeable and his advice on beating the bookies was always greatly appreciated.
