Monday's Footy Tips
On to Monday and there's plenty at stake at Stamford Bridge where 4th placed Chelsea welcome 5th place Everton. With Liverpool eduring an Annus Horribilis both sides are targeting a Champions League spot and just one point separates the sides with the Toffees having a game in hand.
Thomas Tuchel has got off to a flier in the Blues' hotseat and bet365 have them as 11/20 favourites for the win. Everton have one of the best away records in league though and have won their last three without conceding, a win isn't beyond them at 11/2.
Later, West Ham host Leeds and the Hammers could benefit from the result at Chelsea and climb as high as fifth in the table with a win. Leeds have won four and lost four of their last eight, demonstrating the inconsistency that's plagued them all season, whereas the Hammers have won six of their last eight with their two defeats coming against Liverpool and Man City.
David Moyes side look generously priced at even money.

I fancy Everton to score here and I’m going to take a punt on in form striker Dominic Calvert Lewin to score a header at a very generous 11/1. To score anytime he’s 5/2 but he’s already scored 5 headers this season so my advice would be to take the bigger odds.

I expect West Ham to win this game and looking at the goalscorer market there’s a few selections I fancy. West Ham defender Craig Dawson is 28/1 for first goal with Bet365 yet he is as short as 12/1 with Hills. To score anytime you can get odds of 10/1. Trabzonspor come into this game with 9 wins and 1 defeat in their last 10 games and are the form team in turkey at the moment. Alanyaspor aren’t in bad form either with 2 defeats in 10 looks a close game that the home men should probably shade but I’m keeping the draw onside.

Just two places and eight points separate these teams however they are both in very different form. Alanyaspor are largely in the top 6 as a result of their early season form where they started the season with a run of 9 games unbeaten including 7 wins. They would go onto lose 6 of their next 10 and after a mini revival they’ve failed to win again in their last 4 games. They haven’t won away from home for 9 consecutive games and they’ve lost 6 of those 9 games.
Trabzonspor had a shaky start to the season but they are absolutely flying with just 2 defeats in their last 20 games and 14 wins during that time. Their two defeats were at home but came against fenerbache and galatasaray who occupy 3rd and 2nd place. Don’t see this being a game with a lot of goals but based on form the value is with Trabzonspor to win for me.

Don’t think these prices will last, and I know this is a last 16 tie and the further in the competition the more edgy the games can become , but can’t see anything but goals in this game for various reasons. Both teams are very attack minded , and I can’t see either team sitting in for the second leg. Rangers will not want the return leg coming to Ibrox without an away goal , and Gerrard admits he plays these games to win and score and if anyone seen the Antwerp games I can’t see rangers approach being vastly different. Shots on target are a bookies dream. They hardly ever give odds that are reflective of the chance of it happening. Digne hasn’t had a shot on target in 25 games this season. Also Siggy averages a shot on target every 3.5 games.
The stat is miff. A shot on target in mpg would be relevent the fact he plays second fiddle to Rodriguez when he plays and comes on as a sub which would count as an apperance on your 3.5 per, and the fact he starts when rod don’t and takes majority of free kicks and penalties makes it more than a fair price. And to note since he’s hit form.hes had shots on target in last 3 matches he’s played…
Lost anyway subbed 1st bewildering really when iwobi is still on and no playmaker. Your re right footiefan they are very hit n miss shots there never worth backing unless mispriced or enhanced that’s a certainty

Corners – over the last 5 games Chelsea have averaged 5 corners per game and Everton 3 (both rounded up). If you look at Chelsea home games and Everton away games this changes to 7 and 2 respectively so still below below 9.5. That said, this is where it’s most likely to fall down imo as Chelsea seem to be very boom or bust on corners with their last 5 home league games going 5,10,4,12,3 (not in that order).

I’m not sure KF to be honest. Paddypower used to be excellent for them pre-pandemic even going as far as to offer team multicorner markets but they just seemed to vanish over night.
