Golf Betting Tips from The Caddy

The DP World Tour season has hardly finished but it’s started again with this week’s Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland Golf Club, Brisbane, Australia.

There’s also another tournament on the DPWT this week with the Joburg Open in South Africa.

After landing another outright winner last weekend at the RSM Classic in the shape of Ludvig Aberg at 12/1 scooping his maiden PGA title, why not join me on Telegram by clicking the link below for this week's Joburg Open tips & specials!

The 156 field will all be competing for a share of the $2M prize purse with the winner receiving the Australian PGA Championship title & a winning cheque for $333,400.

Royal Queensland Golf Club will be playing 7,084 yards long this week, it’s a par 71 Parkland layout where good Greens in Regulation figures will be key for success.

Cam Smith returns home to defend his title from last year. His winning scorecard read 270, -14.

The weather is forecast to be sunny & warm throughout with the possibility of some showers on Thursday. Breezes will peak at around 15mph.

This event will be screened on Sky Sports Golf with live coverage starting at 2.30 am in the early hours of Thursday morning.

So let’s move on with this week's betting selections for the Australian PGA Championship.

Min Woo Lee 13/2 EW William Hill 1-7 places

For my first pick in Brisbane, I’m sticking with Min Woo Lee 13/2 EW William Hill 1-7 places. The 25-year-old Aussie kid has been at the top of my list on a couple of occasions this year without delivering so it’s about time he delivered. T15th last weekend at the DP World Tour Championship & 6th previous to that at the Zozo Championship, the forms definitely in the bag for the Aussie kid. I’m just hoping that all this recent travelling hasn’t affected him too much but a return home should set him up for a good week with every possibility that he’ll get his first W on the board for 2023.

He did win an event a few weeks back on the Asia Tour when claiming the Macao Open but that wasn’t a PGA or DP World Tour event. Min Woo Lee finished T4th at this event & venue last year

His Fine recent form could see him better that effort this time around with another visit to the winner's enclosure in the early hours on Sunday morning in Brisbane.

Adam Scott 10/1 EW 1-8 places Boylesports

For my next selection, I’m going to advise Adam Scott 10/1 EW 1-8 places Boylesports. I’m taking the shorter price of 10/1 rather than 12/1 just so we can get the extra places because at this time of the year, every penny counts.

Adam Scott should have no problem lurking around at the top of this Australian PGA all weekend & the fact that he’s been back home longer than most in this field, he should be more settled having adapted to the time zone differences. Most are arriving fresh from tournaments last weekend so jet lag could be an issue.

The 43-year-old veteran hasn’t been seen since finishing T5th last time out at the Bermuda Championship, that was his third Top 10 finish at the last half dozen attempts.

T7th at the BMW PGA Championship & T7th at the Wyndham Championship are the other two. You’d need to go all the way back to 2020 for Adam Scott’s last W so surely it’s about that time he got back in the winner's circle with an overdue victory in his homeland.

Cam Davis 10/1 EW Coral 1-6 places

For my final pick to win this week's DPWT season starter, I’m going to suggest Cam Davis 10/1 EW Coral 1-6 places. You’ve probably all noticed a trend here, yip they are all Aussies that’s correct & their prices aren’t any bigger than 10/1.

Cameron Smith is the outright favourite at 4/1 this week, for obvious reasons & he’s also the defending champion so I’m giving us the best chance possible to beat him this weekend.
Getting back to Cam Davis, check this out.

In his last seven tournaments entered, the 28-year-old Aussie has finished inside the Top 20 at all of them apart from one. It gets even better as half a dozen of those efforts were inside the Top 10.

Now without being disrespectful, this isn’t going to be nearly as competitive at the PGA Tour events that Cam Davis is used to week in and week out & this could be the perfect opportunity to bag his first W of the year, better late than never.

Sorry Caddy but these tips are very poor to say the least, you’ve chosen the 2nd, 3rd & 4th favourites, forgive me but that is far from inspirational ?‍♂️

    Hi Caddy
I appreciate your reply, however I would have thought the odds where pretty crucial when selecting any bets ?
I would love nothing more than seeing you win regularly, but your recent selections on the DP tour and subsequently on this site have been very poor recently. Might I suggest you post your stats for the year to give punters confidence in your selections if you’re in profit as you state.
I do not subscribe to Telegram so cannot comment on your performance there ?‍♂️
More than happy to reconvene on Sunday, mate ?

Have been following Caddy here occasionally for the past several years. Got wins sometimes and was ecstatic about those. Probably just got lucky though…
Signed up for his telegram paid service this summer and decided to duty follow all his bets with units advised.
Result was devastating… I lost all my betting budget accumulated for the last couple years… ? it was quite significant and much much higher his monthly charge…
Despite the losses he continued to charge monthly. ?
I feel very sad about bringing this mesage here in my beloved community I have been following for many years (even before Caddy was a thing here), because I cannot even reach him anywhere to address my concerns. Its like a bot that just charges you money for nothing without any feedback loop.
    Very sad indeed

Whatever result on Sunday will make no difference for me as I had no budget available anymore (tbh no any desire to lose even more) to place above mentioned bets. ?
The whole business model is just akward to me – you lose or win but paying customer bears the risk… and continiously pays despite his losses…

Hi jetbee , yip I noticed you had been on the channel but what I’m confused about is that if you were on the channel then you’ll know we are nearly hitting £3k profit since launch at the end of April.
If you were a member since summer & covered all my selections then you’ll have been on Brian Harman 110/1 to win The Open & also Lucas Glover to win the Fed EX St Jude at 95/1 . If you weren’t on any of them then surely you must have been on some of the other outright winners ,10 in total since May .
I’ll name a few , Vincent Norrman 45/1 Irish Open, Viktor Hovland 20/1 Memorial Adrian Meronk 20/1 Italian Open & Jason Day 16/1 AT&T Byron Nelson .+ 4 more.
Also if you follow the TOTP special bet then you’ll know it wins almost every week.
Admittedly October was a bad month , probably my worst ever but it didn’t help that most tournaments throughout October were impacted with bad weather with some being cut short to three day events etc but no hiding here it was a terrible month but one thing I can guarantee you for sure , the channel is still in mega profit since launching 6 months ago .
If you DM me @TheCaddy18 I can sort something out with you as I’m sorry to hear you lost the pot you had accumulated over the years but I’m honestly bewildered as to how you lost it on my channel when everyone else is in profit .DM me mate ? ⛳️

I still feel quite sad to bring it up here (despite losing all my bank), but have felt no even a tiny bit of remorse from Caddy in his telegram channel.
I cannot even fathom out how, as an advisor, you can loose all your clients money, literally 100%, and not even apologise. Continue your business like nothing has happened… and charge another monthly subscription fee… ?‍?
