The Scottish League Cup quarter-finals get underway tonight and Stenhousemuir will be looking to claim another Premiership scalp when Heart of Midlothian come calling.
The Warriors knocked out Motherwell in the last round and have made a habit of upsetting odds as they top the Championship after back-to-back promotions.
But the bookies reckon tonight's clash will be a bridge too far, with Hearts on an impressive eight game run without defeat under new boss Wouter Vrancken.
Stenhousemuir vs Heart of Midlothian top betting tips
Stenhousemuir were favourites for relegation back to League One before a ball was kicked this season but instead sit at the summit after four wins and a draw in their first five Championship games.
They're also unbeaten in five League Cup games this term but Bet365 still make Stenny 5/1 outsiders to reach the semi-finals, with the Jambos just 1/8 in that market.
Even a Hearts win inside 90 minutes pays just 27/100 at Bet365 so it's tricky finding value. Vrancken's adventurous style of play has made the Jambos a great side to watch but they've kept just one clean sheet all season.
Stenhousemuir's success has built on a solid defence though and I'd imagine they will set up to frustrate tonight. Their last two League Cup games have ended in 1-0 and 0-0 scorelines so I fancy a Hearts win to nil at evens.
The corner count could rack up if the Warriors do park the bus but I've yet to see any prices at Bet365 for that market.
West Ham United vs Wrexham
West Ham are finally starting to play like EFL Championship title favourites and a win at home to Wrexham tonight will send them back to the summit.
There was a hangover from relegation as the Hammers picked up just two points from their first three league games.
But Nuno Espirito Santo's side have since won three in a row, scoring 10 times in the process, and Bet365 make them 3/5 favourites tonight.
Wrexham could be a tough nut to crack, though, with the Welsh side losing just two of their seven games in league and cup so far.
Only two of those seven games have seen over 2.5 goals so I'm going to combine a Hammers win with under 4.5 strikes at evens.
Set-pieces could be crucial and West Ham new boy Arne Engels has a quality delivery. The Belgian is a tempting 10/3 to make it three assists in his last four games.
Morton vs Livingston
There's Championship action in Scotland tonight as well and Livingston will be looking to spark their season into life with a win away to rock-bottom Morton.
The Lions started the campaign as title favourites after relegation but have lost three of their five games so far.
That poor start saw manager Glenn Whelan lose his job and sporting director David Martindale has returned to the dugout as interim boss.
Livingston are in a mess but they're up against a club with even bigger problems tonight.
Financial problems have seen Morton work with a drastically reduced budget and they've lost eight of their nine games, scoring just three times.
That's why Livingston are 12/25 favourites tonight, with the Cappielow side 17/4 outsiders.
With both sides in low spirits the best option might be betting against thrills, with under 2.5 goals priced at 5/4 by Bet365.
