View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Wednesday, which includes a Both Teams to Score selection and a trio of Team Goals tips.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Qarabag vs Newcastle – Both Teams to Score (Wednesday, 17:45)
Goals could flow when Qarabag and Newcastle clash in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier on Wednesday evening.
Qarabag, the surprise package of the Champions League, punched above their weight to reach the playoff round and were involved in several high-scoring games en route.
That is highlighted by the fact that the Azerbaijani heavyweights saw both teams score in five of their eight league phase matches, including three of their four home fixtures.
Throw in the fact that three of Newcastle’s four league phase games away from St James' Park featured goals at both ends, and all the signs point to goals at both ends in Baku.
Motherwell To Score 1+ (Wednesday, 19:30)
Aberdeen and Motherwell will contest their rearranged Scottish Cup tie at Pittodrie on Wednesday night.
After a waterlogged pitch put this tie on hold a couple of weeks back, the winners will earn a quarter-final showdown with Dunfermline Athletic.
Motherwell may hold the psychological edge heading into this clash, having defeated the Dons 2-0 at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
That result means the Steelmen have scored in each of their previous four meetings with Aberdeen this season, and they look well placed to repeat the trick on Wednesday night.
Bodo/Glimt To Score 1+ (Wednesday, 20:00)
Bodo/Glimt’s Champions League first-leg play-off tie with Inter Milan on Wednesday night could prove closer than the pre-match odds suggest.
The Norwegian upstarts have shown they are a match for anyone in Europe’s premier club competition, most notably by toppling both Manchester City and Atletico Madrid in their final two league phase assignments to secure qualification.
Overcoming Italian giants Inter across a two-leg play-off will be a tall order, but Kjetil Knutsen’s side look well placed to strike at least once in Wednesday night’s first leg.
Bodo/Glimt blanked in just one of their eight league phase outings, so they could get in on the act against an Inter side that were unable to keep out Kairat Almaty on matchday 4.
Arsenal To Score 2+ (Wednesday, 20:00)
Seeking to get their Premier League title charge back on track, Arsenal travel to Wolves on Wednesday night.
A 1-1 draw at Brentford last midweek saw Mikel Arteta’s men lead at the top of the table trimmed to four points.
However, a trip to a Wolves side rooted to the foot of the table and enduring a wretched campaign looks an ideal opportunity for the Gunners to get back in the winning groove.
The out-of-sorts hosts have conceded at least twice in nine of their 13 top-flight home games this season, and that trend should continue when the league leaders come to town.
