Aberdeen remain a work in progress under Stephen Robinson but should make it three wins from three in the League Cup group stage away to Queen of the South tonight.

After a 2-0 win away to Brora Rangers, the Dons saw off Queen's Park 2-1 at Pittodrie on Saturday, although they needed new keeper Marius Muller to make a string of saves to preserve the points.

They now face a Doonhamers side who have amassed four points from their two games so it's another test for this new-look Reds side.

Queen of the South vs Aberdeen top betting tips

Aberdeen impressed me in the first half against Queen's Park and my tip of a win to nil was looking good at half-time as they led 2-0.

But they fell right off it after the break and almost paid the price as the Championship side came close to pinching a point.

Queen of the South have scored in both their games so far, netting three in their win at Brora, but may try to be more defensive against Premiership opposition.

So I'm going to combine an Aberdeen win with under 3.5 goals, which pays 8/5 at Bet365.

Omonia Nicosia vs Kairat

There's some more qualifiers in the UEFA Champions League tonight and the pick of the ties sees Kairat head to Cyprus for a clash with Omonia Nicosia.

The Kazahk side reached the group stage last term, beating Celtic in the play-offs, and will fancy their chances again this season.

They beat Sutjeska of Montenegro pretty comfortably in the last round but Omonia are a step up in class.

The Cypriots reached the knockout stages of the Conference League last term and Bet365 make them 8/13 favourites for a first-leg win tonight.

Kairat are tempting at 11/10 in the double chance but it's probably safer betting on a tight and cagey game.

Both of those clashes with Celtic last term ended in 0-0 draws and backing under 2.5 strikes tonight pays 4/5. There's more value in the half-time draw, which is priced at 6/5 by Bet365.

Bodo/Glimt vs Ham Kam

Bodo/Glimt's revival in the Norwegian title race continues to gather pace and they should bank three more points at home to Ham Kam tonight.

Kjetil Knutsen's side still sit third, behind Viking and Tromso, but a win tonight would could take them top if the champions slip up away to Lillestrom.

Bodo/Glimt have won five of their last six, drawing the other, and have received a boost with Knutsen committing his future to the club.

So it's no surprise to see them as 1/8 jollies against a Ham Kam side who sit sixth in the table and have won just once in their last five outings.

Bodo/Glimt have won to nil in their last two games and also in three of their last four meetings with HamKam. So that bet appeals tonight, although the odds aren't great at just 10/11 with Bet365.

Ole Didrick Blomberg scored the winner from the spot last time out against Fredrikstad and he's 5/4 with the same firm for another goal tonight.

Super singles

  • Aberdeen win and under 3.5 goals 8/5 Bet365
  • HT draw in Omonia Nicosia vs Kairat 6/5 Bet365
  • Ole Didrick Blomberg anytime scorer 5/4 Bet365
