Stewart Cink took a five shot lead in to the final day and held his nerve to win by four strokes after The Caddy tipped him in his preview piece earlier in the week. Matt Fitzpatrick (30/1) who also finished in the money T4 and 55/1 shot Wil Besseling claimed a T4 finish at the Austrian Open. Absolutely brilliant stuff from our top golf tipster! 👏
Lucinda Russell's Mighty Thunder, under the guidance of Tom Scudamore, landed the spoils for the Scottish trained horse – one of four Scots horses to finish in the top five. Thommo also added Al Aasy at 13/8 and an each-way place for Tommy's Oscar at 5/1 to make a hugely successful and profitable weekend for Thommo's followers. 👏
On the football front Leicester City booked their place in the FA Cup final against Chelsea while Rangers disposed of Celtic in the Scottish Cup and were joined by Hibs in the quarter-fnals.
Monday doesn't have much to offer for punters but the highlight is Liverpool's trip to Leeds where they have the chance to re-claim a top four spot. Three Premier League wins in a row have been punctured by their Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid so the best the Reds can hope for is to finish as high in the table as possible.
Leeds can jump above Arsenal into 9th with a win and after their shock win at Man City won't fear a visit from the Champions. Marcelo Bielsa's men are 7/2 to claim another scalp and avenge their 4-3 defeat at Anfield earlier in the season.
