Thursday’s football tips: Half-time draw looks good at 23/20 as Como host AC Milan

It's slim pickings for punters today after a busy Wednesday but there's some action overseas, with AC Milan's trip to Como taking top billing.

Both teams are in the thick of a thrilling title fight, with Milan sitting second and Como only six points behind them in sixth.

Leaders Inter moved six points clear of Milan at the top with a win on Wednesday so their city rivals will be desperate to respond tonight.

Como vs AC Milan top betting tips

Como are the emerging force in Italian football, with the clubs ambitious owners backing boss Cesc Fabregas heavily in the transfer market.

Their title hopes suffered a blow with back-to-back defeats away to Inter and Roma last month but Como have still lost just three times all season.

They're unbeaten in 11 at home, with Lazio and Juventus losing at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, so this is a major test of Milan's mettle.

The Rosonerri have lost just once in Serie A all season but have stuttered a little of late, with draws in their last two games.

Another stalemate tonight pays 11/5 at Betfred but the half-time draw looks safer at 23/20 with 888Sport.

The other game in Serie A tonight is a clash between two sides in poor form as Bologna head to Verona.

Bologan were in the title mix heading into December but they've since gone seven league games without a win.

That has seen them drop down to mid-table but they have a great chance to get back on track away to second-bottom Verona.

Paolo Zanetti's men have claimed just two victories all season and have lost three of their last four.

They can take some heart from holding champions Napoli to a 2-2 draw away from home and also beat Atalanta 3-1 in December.

Racing Santander vs Barcelona

Barcelona are flying at the moment and head into tonight's Copa Del Rey tie with Racing Santander looking to make it 11 wins in a row.

Hansi Flick's side won the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, edging out Real Madrid in a 3-2 thriller, so I'd imagine they will make a few changes tonight.

Second-tier Santander aren't in great form, with just one win in their last five, and conceded three goals at home to Zaragoza on Saturday.

Barcelona are 2/7 hot favourites for backing them to win both halves boosts the odds to 6/4 with BetVictor.
