Canada were the only World Cup co-host not to win their opening game but are heavy favourites to beat Qatar when Group B resumes tonight.
The Canucks were held to a 1-1 draw by Bosnia and Herzegovina last week but I was impressed by their display and a similar performance against Qatar should secure their first-ever win at the finals.
The Qataris won't be pushovers, though, and head into this game with their tails up after scoring a last-gasp leveller against the Swiss in their opener.
Canada vs Qatar top betting tips
The biggest takeaway from Canada's first fixture was how direct Jesse Marsch's side were, with few backward passes as they constantly put the Bosnian defence under pressure.
That approach yielded nine corners and they should rack up plenty more against Qatar if Marsch sticks the same game plan.
Unfortunately, the bookies have noticed that too and backing over 6.5 Canada corners pays just 8/11 at Bet365. However, if you go for Canada -4 in the corner handicap the odds are a bit better at 10/11. If you want to get into odds-against territory, over five first-half corners pays 8/5.
Cyle Larin's goal off the bench last week should see him earn a start for the Canucks and he's 6/5 with Bet365 for anytime scorer.
Switzerland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina
Switzerland will still be wondering how they collected just a point from their Group B opener after dominating that match against Qatar.
They had 26 shots, with seven on target, and will need to sharpen up with their finishing if they're to bounce back with a win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Although the Bosnians claimed a decent point in their opener, I wasn't overly impressed with them and they spent most of the game on the back foot.
So the Swiss look worthy 8/15 favourites and I'm going to back them to win with under 3.5 goals, a bet that pays 11/10 at Bet365.
Nottingham Forest winger Dan Ndoye wasted a few chances against Qatar but will keep coming back for more and looks decent value at 6/5 to score or assist tonight.
Czechia vs South Africa
The World Cup action gets underway tonight with a tea-time clash between Czechia and South Africa in Group A.
Both sides lost their opening game, with the Czechs blowing a 1-0 lead against South Korea while the Bafana Bafana stumbled to a 2-0 defeat against Mexico.
South Africa also had two players sent off and their poor performance suggests the Czechs are worthy 3/4 favourites to pile on the pain. Adding on over 1.5 goals will boost your odds to 6/5 at Bet365.
Leverkusen striker Partik Schick is the main man up front for Czechia and has scored important goals in the last two Euros.
He was hooked in the second half after a disappointing display against the Koreans but should get a chance to redeem himself tonight.
Schick is evens with Bet365 to score or assist and that looks worth a punt against a South African defence that was error-prone last week.
