Sunday’s football tips: Toon flier Elanga 7/2 for an assist against old club Forest

Ange Postecoglou is already under pressure just a few weeks into his Nottingham Forest reign and badly needs to claim his first victory at St James' Park today.

But all logic points towards more misery for the big Aussie, given Newcastle have enjoyed an extra 24 hours to recover after both clubs were in European action.

And while the Magpies eased to a 4-0 win away to Union Saint-Gilloise, it was the lowest point of Postecoglou's reign so far as Forest lost 3-2 at home to Midtjylland.

Celtic slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Braga in midweek and now have a tricky SPFL Premiership game to negotiate as unbeaten Motherwell come to Parkhead.

New boss Jens Berthel Askou has yet to taste defeat 12 games into his reign and has the Steelmen playing some lovely stuff.

While Well have scored in all but one of their games this season, Celtic have fired blanks in five of their 12 games.
