SlipsTips shares a selection ahead of Newcastle’s clash with Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
Newcastle vs Liverpool (Sunday, 16:30)
The third and final fixture from Sunday's Premier League slate will see Newcastle and Liverpool square off at St James' Park.
The two teams head into the new season after underwhelming campaigns last term, with both clubs also having new managers in the dugout.
Eddie Howe was replaced by Matthias Jaissle at the beginning of the month, while Liverpool parted company with Arne Slot and brought in Andoni Iraola following his fine work at Bournemouth last season.
Liverpool are the bookies' favourites for this one, but a Reds victory is priced at just 9/10 on bet365, which offers little appeal from a value perspective.
Instead, I am turning to the foul markets for a selection that looks far more interesting.
Sven Botman can be backed at 5/6 on bet365 to be fouled at least once during this contest, and that looks too big to ignore.
The Dutchman might not immediately spring to mind as someone who regularly draws fouls, but his numbers suggest otherwise.
Botman averaged 0.94 fouls won per game in the Premier League last season, and that figure actually increased towards the end of the campaign.
He won at least one free kick in six of his final eight league appearances, while he was fouled four times in two of those matches.
There is also an interesting subplot involving Alexander Isak to factor in here, with the former Newcastle striker set to return to St James' Park for the first time after an injury-hit first season at Anfield.
Isak averaged 0.94 fouls committed per game during his final Premier League season with Newcastle, and the occasion could bring an extra edge to his performance.
That only adds to the appeal of backing Botman to be fouled at least once at 5/6 with bet365.
