Bolivia vs Scotland (Saturday, 21:00)

Scotland's final run-out before this summer's World Cup will see them face Bolivia at the Sports Illustrated Stadium on Saturday night.

Steve Clarke’s side flew out to the USA after coming from behind to claim a 4-1 win over 10-man Curacao at Hampden last weekend.

As for Bolivia, it will be a watching brief for them this summer as they fell short in the inter-confederation playoffs after placing seventh in South American qualifying.

Scotland certainly look the stronger side on paper, and that is reflected in the pre-match odds, with Clarke's side as short as 19/50 for the win on bet365.

However, packaging up a Scotland success alongside under 4.5 goals will boost the odds to a much more enticing 4/5 on bet365.

While Scotland will come into this clash having swept aside Curacao last weekend, it may not have been as comfortable had their opponents not been reduced to 10 men in the first half.

Moreover, three of Scotland's four wins during qualifying all featured under 4.5 goals, including a pair of victories over a Belarus side that could arguably represent a similar standard of opposition to that of Bolivia.

It should also be noted that it was just over 12 months ago that Scotland defeated Liechtenstein 4-0 in a friendly fixture, while their final warm-up game ahead of Euro 2024 was a low-key 2-0 win over Gibraltar.

Therefore, another solid rather than spectacular success could be on the cards on Saturday night, particularly with Clarke's side having to familiarise themselves with new surroundings and conditions.

What's more, Bolivia boss Oscar Villegas has been forced to call up a largely youthful and inexperienced squad due to a whole host of different issues, which only strengthens the case for siding with a Scotland victory here.

On top of all of that, 12 of La Verde's last 14 defeats across all competitions have featured four match goals or fewer.

So with all things considered, I'm more than happy to side with a Scotland victory alongside under 4.5 goals at a value 4/5 with bet365.
