The Nottingham Forest midfielder has been a serial offender in the Premier League this season, underlined by the fact that he is committing an average of 1.45 fouls per game. A deeper dig shows that Anderson has overstepped the mark in 16 of his 20 top-flight appearances this term, giving away multiple free-kicks in 10 of those fixtures.
Anderson’s aggressive approach is also evidenced by the fact that he has picked up six yellow cards across his 25 appearances in all competitions this season, having his name taken by the referee in two of his last seven top-flight outings.
The likelihood of Anderson coming up against Matheus Fernandes in the middle of the park only adds weight to this selection. The West Ham playmaker has drawn an average of 1.46 fouls per game in the Premier League this season.
