After delivering another winner on Sunday, SlipsTips shares a Bet Builder ahead of Cologne’s clash with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Wednesday night.
Cologne vs Bayern Munich – Wednesday (19:30)
Fresh from a resounding 8-1 win over Wolfsburg, runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich will take on Cologne at the RheinEnergieStadion on Wednesday night.
That landslide victory, combined with results elsewhere, has seen Vincent Kompany’s side extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
As for Cologne, they are now without a win in seven league matches following a 2-2 draw with Heidenheim last time out.
Bayern Munich Win
I’ll get the Bet Builder underway by backing Bayern Munich to bag another victory on Wednesday night. The German giants have yet to taste defeat in the Bundesliga this season, posting an impressive return of 14 wins from 16 thus far. Moreover, six of those victories have come away from the Allianz Arena, including each of their last two road trips, which were 5-0 and 4-0 wins away at Stuttgart and Heidenheim respectivley.
That doesn’t bode well for a Cologne side that have not won a league game since early November, losing two of their last three fixtures in front of their own supporters.
Harry Kane To Score Anytime
If Bayern Munich are to record what will be a 15th league win of the season it makes sense to include Harry Kane to get on the scoresheet. Kane has been scoring goals for fun since making the move to Bavaria, and this season has been no different.
In fact, Kane has racked up 20 Bundesliga goals across his 16 appearances this season so far, netting in all but four of those appearances, striking in each of his last three.
Now up against a Cologne side with just two clean sheets in 16 Bundesliga outings this season, including zero at home, Kane looks well-placed to add to his tally on Wednesday night.
Michael Olise To Be Fouled 1 or More Times
For the final leg of the Bet Builder, I’ll include Michael Olise to be fouled at least once. The Bayern Munich winger is a player who regularly gets close attention from opposition defences, evidenced by the fact that he is drawing an average of 1.94 fouls per 90 in the Bundesliga this season.
A closer look shows that Olise has been brought down in 13 of his 16 German top-flight appearances this term, including each of his previous seven.
