Seeking to make it five wins on the bounce, SlipsTips shares a Bet Builder ahead of Tottenham's relegation showdown with Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham vs Everton, Sunday (16:00)

Tottenham have one last chance to secure their place in next season’s Premier League when they host Everton on the final day on Sunday afternoon.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side missed the opportunity to rubber-stamp their top-flight status when they fell to a 2-1 defeat away at London rivals Chelsea on Tuesday night.

Avoiding defeat will still be enough to get the job done for the capital club on Sunday, but they are unlikely to have things all their own way against an Everton side with their eyes on a top-half finish.

James Garner To Commit 1+ Foul

For the first leg of what will be a player-based double, I'm backing James Garner to commit a minimum of one foul. The Everton midfielder is averaging 1.06 fouls per game in the Premier League this season, although that doesn’t tell the full story. When playing away from home, Garner’s foul output increases, underlined by the fact he has been guilty of at least one offence in 14 of his 18 top-flight outings on the road this season. Even more encouraging for the purposes of this selection is that the Toffees ace has registered multiple fouls in 11 of those 18 away days.

Given he is likely to find himself operating in similar areas of the pitch to the likes of Conor Gallagher, Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur, Garner looks a strong contender to be penalised at least once at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. The aforementioned Spurs trio were all fouled during Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat away at Chelsea, with Bentancur brought down on two occasions.

Joao Palhinha To Commit 1+ Foul

I’m staying in the midfield battleground for the second leg of the double by backing Joao Palhinha to commit at least one foul. The Portuguese midfielder is well known for his combative edge, something that has been particularly evident since Roberto De Zerbi took charge at Spurs. In fact, Palhinha has racked up five fouls across his last three Premier League starts, including three in Tuesday night’s setback at Stamford Bridge.

Palhinha could be tasked with keeping close tabs on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has developed into something of a foul magnet this season. The Everton midfielder is drawing an average of 1.63 fouls per 90 in the Premier League this term.

Pairing these two selections together brings about a 20/23 shot on bet365, which looks like good value.
