After delivering a winning combination at Celtic Park on Saturday, SlipsTips shares a Bet Builder ahead of Chelsea's clash with Tottenham in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
Chelsea vs Tottenham, Tuesday (20:15)
In one of two crunch Premier League fixtures taking place on Tuesday night, Chelsea and Tottenham go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will be eager to bounce back from their FA Cup final disappointment by boosting their slim hopes of European qualification, while Spurs know that victory would secure their Premier League survival with a game to spare.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview for this capital clash, but I’m now going to turn my attention to putting together a three-leg Bet Builder.
Moises Caicedo To Commit 1+ Foul
For the first of three player-based selections, I'm going with Moises Caicedo to commit a minimum of one foul. The Chelsea midfielder is certain to be one of the main protagonists in what promises to be a heated midfield battle at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. Moreover, Caicedo has been a persistent fouler in the Premier League this season, committing an average of 1.75 fouls per game. The Ecuadorian's combative streak is further highlighted by the fact that he racked up his 16th yellow card of the season during Saturday's FA Cup final defeat to Man City.
Joao Palhinha To Commit 1+ Foul
I’m now going to switch focus to a Tottenham midfielder to commit a foul in the shape of Joao Palhinha. Like the aforementioned Caicedo, the Spurs midfielder is another player who consistently finds himself on the referee’s radar.
The Portuguese midfielder is averaging 1.06 fouls per 90 in the Premier League this season, and has been penalised in 10 of his last 14 appearances, including each of the last two. Palhinha is also likely to come up against Enzo Fernandez, who is drawing an average of 1.29 fouls per game in the top flight this term.
Cole Palmer 2+ Shots
The final selection is for Cole Palmer to register at least two shots. While the Chelsea midfielder has not quite hit the heights of previous seasons, he has still been firing shots on a regular basis.
That is reflected in the numbers, with Palmer averaging 2.93 shots per game in the Premier League this term. A closer look shows the Chelsea ace has attempted at least two shots in 11 of his 12 Premier League appearances at Stamford Bridge this season, a pattern that could well continue against a leaky Tottenham team.
This three-leg Bet Builder is priced at 6/5 with bet365, which looks a touch of value.
