England will fulfil the first of their final two friendly fixtures before beginning their World Cup campaign when they face New Zealand in Florida on Saturday night.
Having been drawn in Group L, the Three Lions will not get their campaign under way until 17 June, when they take on Croatia.
As for New Zealand, their preparations got off to the worst possible start, as they were hammered 4-0 by Haiti earlier this week.
England Win to Nil
I’m going to get the Bet Builder double underway by backing England to win to nil. Thomas Tuchel’s side were mightily impressive throughout their qualifying campaign, winning all eight of their matches. That record was made all the more striking by the fact the Three Lions kept a clean sheet in each of those victories.
England also managed to keep the back door shut in a 3-0 win over Wales last October, and a similar scoreline on Saturday night at the Raymond James Stadium looks well within the realms of possibility.
As mentioned, New Zealand come into this clash on the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to international minnows Haiti, while they also failed to find the net in a friendly defeat to Finland back in March.

The Three Lions went in at the interval ahead in six of their eight World Cup qualifiers before going on to secure victory. The same was also true in their aforementioned 3-0 win over Wales late last year.
This combination has also clicked in New Zealand’s recent defeats to both Finland and Haiti, further strengthening the case for a repeat in Florida on Saturday night.
