Saturdays top tips 3

It has been a week to forget for Liverpool and they head into tonight's Premier League clash with Chelsea looking to avoid three defeats in a row.

Losses to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray have shown that the Reds are more than a little vulnerable, despite a massive summer spending spree.

Arne Slot's slick attack had been bailing out the defence but the goals have dried up in the last two games and they need to get back on track against the Blues.

Chelsea vs Liverpool top betting tips

Chelsea are another team who have struggled to hit top form in the opening few weeks of the season but they boosted morale with a 1-0 Champions League win over Benfica.

The clean sheet would have thrilled Enzo Maresca as his side shut out the opposition for just the third time in nine games.

Liverpool and Chelsea are in top three for errors leading to goals and chances in Europe's top five leagues so it points towards an entertaining game.

Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays just 8/11 at BoyleSports but the player markets offer more value.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Maresca looks good for a shot on target at 5/4 with BoyleSports while sidekick Moises Caicedo is 2/1 for a fourth card this term.

Manchester United vs Sunderland

Ruben Amorim desperately needs a win at Old Trafford today as his Manchester United flops take on shock troops Sunderland.

The Black Cats have been the story of the Premier League season so far and sit just four points behind leaders Liverpool after a storming start.

I thought United would be a lot better this term after making some big summer signings, especially with no European football to distract them.

But Amorim's side have won just two of their six Premier League games and sit three points above the drop zone.

Sunderland's defence has been their biggest strength so far, conceding just five times in seven matches. So it could pay to back under 2.5 goals in this one at 6/5 with BoyleSports.

United should have most of the pressure and over 6.5 corners for the Red Devils looks decent at 13/10 after they won seven when Burnley came calling.

Arsenal vs West Ham United

Arsenal are ticking along nicely and should keep their title push on track in this London derby with West Ham United.

The Hammers got a boost from Nuno Espirito Santo's arrival as boss as they battled to an excellent point away to Everton.

Arsenal away is a much tougher proposition though and BoyleSports make the Gunners 1/5 hot favourites.

Santo's sides are usually pretty tough to break down so I'm going to combine and Arsenal win with under 3.5 goals at 21/20.

Set-pieces remain an Achilles heel for West Ham so it could pay to back Declan Rice for an assist at 5/2 with Bet365.

Heart of Midlothian vs Hibernian

There's a huge game in the SPFL Premiership this evening as Hearts host Hibs in the Edinburgh derby.

The Jambos have made a flying start to the season and can move five points clear at the top with a win.

But Hibs are also unbeaten in the Premiership, with five of their six games ending in stalemates.

They drew with Celtic at Parkhead last weekend so another stalemate could pay off at 11/4 with BoyleSports. The half-time draw is a safer bet at 6/5.

This game is usually spicy and a double on Hearts midfielder Cammy Devlin and Hibs stopper Grant Hanley going in the book pays 7/1 at Bet365.

Super singles

  • Moises Caicedo to be carded 2/1 BoyleSports
  • Over 6.5 Manchester United corners 13/10 BoyleSports
  • Arsenal win and under 3.5 goals 21/20 BoyleSports

Deadly double

  • Cammy Devlin and Grant Hanley to be carded in Edinburgh derby 7/1 Bet365
