EVERTON are having a strong season and they will smell blood when they welcome out-of-sorts Newcastle to Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
Carlo Ancelotti's charges have come through a rocky patch to post five wins and two draws across their last seven Premier League assignments.
The Blues head into this clash on the back of a 1-1 draw with Leicester in midweek, on a night where my recommended Bet Builder landed.
That result has kept the Toffees within touching distance of a top-four berth and they will fancy their chances of chalking up three points here when faced with a Newcastle side who are in freefall.
The Magpies are enduring a period of woe and arrive in Merseyside in the midst of a six-match losing streak across all competitions.

Everton are unsurprisingly red-hot favourites here and I'm going to construct a same game multiple with a view to getting the Toffees on-side.
If we combine Everton double chance, under four match goals, over one match card and over zero Newcastle cards we will be presented with a backable 4/5 punt with Bet 365.
As already alluded to, Everton have avoided defeat in each of their last seven top-flight tussles and I suspect they will stretch that sequence when they come up against a confidence-stricken Newcastle side who are hurtling towards the relegation scrap.
Having said that, nine of the Magpies last 11 away games in the Premier League have featured fewer than three match goals, while an under 2.5 goal play would have banked profit in seven of Everton's last nine league outings.
With that in mind, I'm happy to side with under four strikes at Goodison on Saturday and given that referee Stuart Attwell will take charge of this clash I'll also throw in some bookings to boost up the price up on the Bet Builder.
Attwell is averaging 4.27 yellows per game this season and given that Newcastle are averaging 1.9 yellows 90 minutes this term I'll include at least one booking for Bruce's boys and over one match card in the above-mentioned Bet Builder.
