Two clubs at opposite ends of the Premier League table meet at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon as rock-bottom Sunderland entertain fourth-placed Chelsea.
Sunderland’s poor start to the Premier League season continued at the weekend, as they fell to a 3-1 defeat away at newly-promoted Coventry City.
That’s now five defeats from their last six Premier League clashes for Regis Le Bris’ men (W0-D1-L5), meaning they sit at the foot of the table, two points adrift of safety.
The Black Cats also come in to this clash after suffering their first defeat in the league phase of the Europa League on Thursday night, falling to a disappointing 0-2 loss at home to Dinamo Zagreb – on an evening I landed a 15/8 winner.
Chelsea bounced back from a rare defeat at home to Spurs last weekend by defeating crisis club Manchester United thanks to second-half goals from Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer.
That’s now three wins from four in the Premier League for Xabi Alonso’s men, leaving them in fourth spot in the table.
How the bookies view it: Chelsea favourites
Chelsea are favourites to make it four wins from their last five contests in the Premier League, with bet365 pricing an away win at 19/20.
Sunderland are 11/4 to claim just a second Premier League win of the season, whilst the draw is 13/5.
Head to head: Double delight for the Black Cats
Sunderland did the double over Chelsea last season, winning 2-1 at home and away against the Blues.
The victory at home on the final day of last season secured European football for the Black Cats this campaign at the expense of the Blues.
Players to watch: More magic from Morgan?
Morgan Rogers gave Chelsea the lead against Manchester United last weekend at Stamford Bridge as he glided past the United defence before clipping the ball over Sam Lammens.
The England international now has six goals and four assists following his move from Aston Villa in the summer, and is priced at 20/21 at bet365 to Score or Assist at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.

Predicted line-ups:
Sunderland are missing the injured Daniel Ballard, Romaine Mundle and Habib Diarra, whilst Omar Alderete is suspended.
Chelsea will be without the injured Jorrel Hato, Reece James, Maxence Lacroix, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, whilst Emi Martinez is still a doubt.
Sunderland: Roefs, Hume, O’Nien, Mukiele, Reinildo, Sadiki, Xhaka, Rigg, Le Fee, Angulo, Brobbey
Chelsea: Penders, Acheampong, Fofana, Colwill, Neto, Lavia, Caicedo, Chavarria, Palmer, Rogers, Estevao
Anything else catch the eye?
Sunderland have endured a difficult start to the campaign, but despite winning three of their last four Premier League matches, I still don't have full confidence in Chelsea securing all three points here.
Opposing goals seem a better option, with Under 2.5 Goals paying out in six of Sunderland’s previous eight Premier League fixtures, including in all four on home soil.
Under 2.5 Goals has also been a winning selection in each of the Blues’ last three Premier League outings, and a repeat pays 1/1 at bet365.
