Arsenal will look to strengthen their position at the top of the Premier League table as they welcome promoted Hull City to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal capitalised on Manchester City’s defeat at home to Brighton last Saturday, as they secured a rare win at Anfield against Liverpool the following day.
Kai Havertz’s first-half tap-in was enough to secure all three points in Merseyside, making it eight wins from nine in the Premier League and moving the Gunners three points clear at the top of the table.
Mikel Arteta’s men were also in action in midweek, winning 1-2 in the Czech capital against Slavia Prague, moving them up into third in the Champions League league phase table.
Hull failed to put a halt to their seven-match winless run in the Premier League last weekend as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to fellow promoted side Ipswich Town.
However, that was Sergej Jakirovic’s visitors’ fifth draw in that seven-game winless run, meaning they still remain four points clear of the relegation zone.
How the bookies view it: Arsenal clear favourites
It comes as no surprise that Arsenal are clear favourites to secure all three points at the Emirates on Saturday, with bet365 pricing a home win at just 1/6.
Hull are 14/1 underdogs to claim a shock victory, whilst the draw is also unfancied at 13/2.
Head to head: Arsenal dominance
This is a fixture that Arsenal have absolutely dominated, winning 15 of their 18 meetings with Hull City (W15-D2-L1).
The Tigers’ solitary victory in this fixture did come at the Emirates in September 2008, as a Geovanni stunner and a goal from ex-Rangers striker Daniel Cousin gave Hull all three points.
Players to watch: Declan to deliver again?
Declan Rice helped guide Arsenal to victory at Anfield last weekend, as his terrific cross gave Kai Havertz a simple tap-in.
The England international now has five assists to his name for the Gunners this term – as well as a goal in Bavaria against Bayern Munich – and appeals at 7/5 at bet365 to Score or Assist.

Predicted line-ups:
Arsenal will be without the injured Bukayo Saka and the suspended Max Dowman, whilst Ezra Konsa is a doubt.
Hull are expected to be without Jack Butland, Eliot Matazo, Darko Gyabi, Charlie Hughes, Ilyas Ansah, and Matt Targett due to injury, whilst Matt Crooks is suspended.
Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori, Guimaraes, Rice, Eze, Odegaard, Madueke, Havertz
Hull City: Tzolakis, Coyle, Ajayi, Egan, Mendy, Giles, Belloumi, Iroegbunam, Slater, Stroud, McBurnie
Anything else catch the eye?
Arsenal have the chance to move six points clear of Manchester City – for a few hours at least – and should have little issue getting past their newly-promoted visitors.
The Tigers are winless in each of their last seven Premier League clashes, and have lost their last two away from home at Newcastle and Fulham.
All eight of the Gunners’ Premier League victories this season have featured fewer than four goals, and a repeat stands out at 1/1 at bet365.
