Tottenham head to Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime looking to make it four Premier League wins on the bounce.
After a close escape from relegation last season and a sluggish start to this campaign, Roberto De Zerbi’s side are finally showing signs of finding their rhythm.
Indeed, Spurs made it three Premier League wins in a row last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, in a game that brought up my recommended Bet Builder.
That latest triumph lifted Tottenham into the top half of the table, and another victory this weekend could see them climb into the top six, at least temporarily.
Leeds, meanwhile, are now without a win in five league games after losing 2-0 away at Bournemouth last weekend, where all three of my recommended selections landed.
That setback dropped Daniel Farke’s side to 12th place, although they still have a five-point cushion above the bottom three.
How the bookies view it: Duo difficult to separate
The bookmakers can barely split the two teams, with Leeds only marginal favourites at 8/5 and a Tottenham win trading at 13/8 with bet365.
Leeds have drawn three of their four Premier League home games this season, and another stalemate here is priced at 23/10 with bet365.
Head to head: Another Tottenham triumph?
Tottenham have had the better of this fixture over the years, winning 42 of the 105 meetings across all competitions, compared with Leeds’ 33 victories. The other 30 encounters ended all square.
Spurs earned a 2-1 win at Elland Road last season, and a repeat of that scoreline on Saturday is priced at 10/1 on bet365.
Players to watch: Lean on Calvert-Lewin
After successfully backing Dominic Calvert-Lewin to commit two fouls at Bournemouth last weekend, I’m happy to go in again at Elland Road on Saturday at 11/10 with bet365. This bet would have landed in six of Leeds’ nine Premier League games this season, making 11/10 look like good value.
Mohammed Kudus has been fouled multiple times in three of his last five outings for Tottenham, including four times against Crystal Palace last weekend. That makes the Ghanaian winger an attractive option to be brought down at least twice during this contest at 6/4 with bet365.
Predicted line-ups
Joe Rodon could return to the Leeds squad this weekend after resuming full training. Noah Okafor and Anton Stach are both major doubts, while Mateo Joseph remains on the sidelines.
Roberto De Zerbi can call on Rodrigo Bentancur again after his three-match ban, while Lucas Bergvall and Tosin Adarabioyo are both in line to return from injury. Spurs are still without Mykhailo Mudryk and Savio, along with long-term absentees Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons.
Leeds: Trafford; Justin, Elvedi, Muharemovic; Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Gudmundsson; Wilson, James; Calvert-Lewin
Tottenham: Kinsky; Porro, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Robertson; Fernandes, Tonali; Kudus, Maddison, Tel; Solanke
Anything else catch the eye?
Ethan Ampadu looks too big to ignore for a booking at 11/5 with bet365.
The Leeds captain is well known for playing with a real combative streak, which has seen him pick up a yellow card in each of his last four top-flight outings.
It is also worth pointing out that Ampadu was booked in last season’s corresponding fixture with Tottenham.
