TWO of German football's most down-on-their-luck sides meet on Friday when Augsburg entertain Borussia Monchengladbach in a Bundesliga encounter.
Both sides are seriously out of form – the hosts have won one game in their last six games, but Monchengladbach are without a win in their last seven games in all competitions and have lost five in a row.
Neither side look remotely likely to entertain thoughts of reaching the European spots for next season and both should have enough to get dragged into trouble, although Augsburg are seven points clear of the drop zone with a game more being played than third-bottomed Arminia Bielefeld and wouldn't be wanting to continue their recent poot form for too much longer.
It's a tough sell all right, but also an opportunity for either side to try and get back to winning ways.

Anything else catch the eye?
Soon-to-be-departing Monchengladbach boss Marco Rose's players appear to have downed tools somewhat following his announcement he would go to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season and while they may stop the rot, they are far too short surely at odds-on.
Augsburg have won just three out of 12 home games and Monchengladbach have won three out of 11 away from home.
It could be wise to look at both sides extending their lack of wins and a draw looks the shout.
