This Monday is set to be an extraordinary one thanks to the exciting fixtures on the card, including two big La Liga clashes.

Osasuna host Getafe as they look to extend their unbeaten run, whilst Barcelona host Rayo Vallecano with the aim of returning to the top of the table.

Below, you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for each of Monday’s La Liga matches.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions

Osasuna vs. Getafe (6:30pm)

Following the dismal end to last season, in which Osasuna survived solely thanks to their strong results against the team just below them in the table, the side have started this season on a much more positive note with a win and a draw.

Getafe had a far more important task on their hands over the last two weeks – qualifying for the Conference League – and they succeeded, but from their matches so far, we can draw an early conclusion that their main problems will be away from home.

Given Getafe’s low scoring rate, which we have become accustomed to in recent seasons, we can expect a low-scoring match here. In my view, Osasuna have a chance to pick up another three points with a narrow victory.

Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano (8:30pm)

Barcelona’s title defence has got off to a brilliant start, but they cannot afford to let their guard down for a single moment, as Real Madrid look just as strong.

The upcoming home fixture against Rayo Vallecano could prove tougher than usual, as Barcelona often struggle against the Red Sashes. Last season they drew away from home, whilst at home they only just managed a 1-0 win.

However, the visitors don’t look at their best and, in my view, won’t have many chances to score. That’s why a clean sheet for the hosts looks like a great opportunity.
