After a remarkable total of 1,626 matches as manager in English football, Neil Warnock makes his bow in the Scottish game at Ibrox tonight.

The 75-year-old has stepped in to fill the vacancy at Aberdeen following the departure of Barry Robson last week. It couldn’t get much tougher for Warnock, who’s side are 10/1 to take the three points back up north.

Rangers have been pretty relentless under Phillipe Clement, their only defeat coming against Celtic at the end of December but it’s the Hoops who have stumbled lately and a win for the Gers would draw them level on points at the top of the table. With that kind of incentive it’s hard to see Clement’s side slipping up at 1/4.

The Warnock factor makes Aberdeen a little less predictable, especially after they held Celtic to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The Dons won on their last visit to Ibrox and took seven points from their four league matches against Rangers in 2023.

Referee Don Robertson is in charge of the fixture for the third time in his career. He sent-off Aberdeen’s Andrew Considine in his first meeting and more recently booked 10 players in December's League Cup final.

The bookings line is 4.5 with overs available at 6/5. It’s a fixture littered with red cards and one tonight pays 9/2. The last 10 clashes have seen the following card count; 10, 5, 4 (+ 1 Red), 3, 6 (+1 Red), 10, 3, 5, 8, 5.

Promotion chasing Coventry and Southampton should get the job done at the second attempt in the FA Cup.

They’re at home to fellow Championship sides, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford following 1-1 draws first time around.

They’re both priced at 8/15 to win which makes for a 135/100 Double.

South Korea are short-priced favourites at 1/4 (8/15 to win in 90 minutes) to reach the final of the AFC Asian Cup this afternoon (3pm KO).

Jordan stand in their way having beaten Iraq – thanks to goals in the 95th and 97th minutes – and Tajikistan – via an own goal – en route to the semi-finals.

Late goals have also been a feature of South Korea’s run to the final four too. They’ve scored a goal after the 90 minute mark in four of their five matches at the tournament including an injury time equaliser when both these nations met in the group stages.

There’s been plenty of added in time in some of the matches in the tournament so with goal line is set at 74.59 a late goal looks worth a punt at 5/6.

As alluded to in the preview cards are expected in Govan tonight. Shinnie will be many folks top choice for a card but I’ll shuffle over to his midfield partner Jamie McGrath. He was booked on Saturday against Celtic and has been booked in the previous 2 clashes with Rangers this season.

Jamie McGrath to be carded 5/1

    Jordan v South Korea 15:00
Over 0 South Korea goals, Over 0 South Korea Cards, Over 1 Jordan card 1/1 Bet365
    BTTS 11/10 Bet365
South Korea have scored in all of their matches so far and also registered at least one booking. Jordan have received multiple cards in four of their five games, including three in their group match against South Korea – a 2-2 draw.
South Korea have failed to keep a clean sheet yet. Five out of six last 16 matches, and three out of four QFs saw BTTS land. Good luck.

    Hungarian OTP Bank liga

    Újpest-Debreceni VSC

There are a lot of problems at Újpest. The club sold 5 players and only one arrived. In their last game, the ultras walked out of the stadium at halftime. The fans will be protesting today and will be silent during the game. Players don’t like coach Vignjevic. The club can be sold by the hated belgian owner Roderick Duchatelet at any moment.

Debreceni VSC is a good team. They are fighting for 2nd-3rd place.

My tips: Debreceni VSC win or Debreceni VSC score over 1,5 goals.

    Ross County
    Scottish Premiership 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    BTTS 19-20 NAP (BET365).
    BTTS and over 2.5 goals 6-4 (bet365)

Motherwell seen BTTS in their last 5 games.
** Motherwell conceded in all 12 home league games including a 3-3 v Ross **
    10 of these were BTTS.

Ross conceded in 17 of last 20 away games.

Both concede regular enough, danger is a 0-0 but hoping for a 1-1 draw. For the nap….
A 2-1 either way better of course
